i got an escalation earlier "medical twilight" after completing blood watch, i was running short on missiles so went and got some more, when i returned to the area it was as if nothing had happened?

did i mess this up by leaving then returning?

Check your Journal for "Expeditions"... escalations are follow-up sites, on different, nearby systems.

If I remember right, the Journal icon does not flash when you get Expedition. Need to ask CCP to fix that.
