wait, WH corp engaged an ROL cap on a gate expecting blob welp, but then did it anyways?

Then everyone logged off to take a break and, Ashimat, some of your scrubby alliance mates came by and taunted the 4 of us left online for declining to engage 5+ to 1 odds.

That's a fun area of space to roam in with a null-sec static; tagged an archon in Omist a few weeks ago, and have seen a Nidhoggur and Thanatos since then on different roams (former I was the only pilot on, and latter logged and I dropped combat probes too late :( ).

Simple gist of it, ROL was sitting in their deep null sec surrounded by their big bad friends. Here we are with a small roaming gang encountering them. We engage, they bring out a thanny. A non triage 1000 dps fighter thanny. They pop a dram. Dram pilot says he wants thanny dead and decides to drop his moros on them. We figured it would likely get dropped by a couple of supers. But said **** it and dropped the dread anyway. We got the kill and made it out before any kind of response fleet could form up. Before we left local, the thanny pilot said "how did you get a dread down here?" In local gave us nice lulz and excellent trolling material.

Last time I jumped into nullsec I induced a carebear log off of epic proportions. Half the people in local simply vanished. All I did was poke my head out of WH space for a quick nose around.
