Tough. If you can't follow the conversation, read it twice — it's not hard.

Here come the trolls...

You only hold the game back..

You take the conversation to a completely random and stupid point that no one cares about..

Picking little bits of comments out and making comments on those alone without explanation or meaning or even a point yourself..

You mad bro?

Yes... I am mad... WE ALL ARE.. This game has become a haven for those who act like complete idiots..

The forums are thick to the brim with them...

The game even more so...

YOU... Give the game a bad reputation...

You flame people... You antagonise people.. You point the finger, you purposefully call out people..

Its sickening and its making the game sick..

Scam, Troll the game, Troll the forums, Insult, Be stupid, act crazy, Hooray.. Well done to you

All the while people who actually care about this game and its future have to deal with your bullshit.. CCP included..

I feel sorry if this is how you act in real life.. But we all know it isnt..

Gonna troll back to this? ofcourse... You cant not...

Pfft

The "Dark Side of EvE" is what keep this game going for so many years.

You really believe that?

I know that is true, also must people start playing EvE for that reason. Everyone heard some amazing history like burn jita and hulkageddon or some major scamming/heist, it is great publicity.

I absolutely agree to the publicity and the great stories and in no way am i saying this type of thing should be removed from the game...

I am simply saying there needs to be a line....

Chaos is all well and good.. Scamming is a great part.. Ganking... Killing... The dark side of EVE...

It SHOULD be there... It should be in the game..

But there needs to be a line....

Even a small one...

Where CCP says thats enough.. You have had your fun.. But thats taking it too far..

Right now.. No line..

Fine if you agree with that.. But it has to end somewhere

Its pretty easy to follow considering the forum displays it for me..

Just when others read you are only conveying a slight part of what has been said..

Probably on purpose.. But yeh.. Alright

…and thus I quote the part I'm answering to, because the rest (especially your superfluous punctuation) is just pointless clutter.

In a time where out of game isk raffle is all the rage.
Allowing renaming of Crates that cannot have its contents checked.
And inability to check for degree of damage on items in contracts.
Not to mention the continued allowed existence of sites such as http://isktaker.wordpress.com/inhouse-scamming-guide/ and other online scamming sites has lead me to think that CCP actually want us to scams.
Scamming is actually a legit way to make a living, and it shouldn't be look down upon, and should be praised.
Thats the message I am getting from EVE.

A place where the scammers are ignored and the scammed are ridiculed for his/her stupidity and ineptness to spot shady dealings.
The decline of morality sure does know no bounds in EVE.

For those who says its the scammed fault .
I got a little personal experience to share.
Kind of hard to differentiate when there are those who are genuinely kind of virtuous , auctioning researched BPO to newbies and lesser well off people. I got my Naga and Noctis BPO 50 mil below market price that way.
While there are those who put on the same disguise , but instead chose to go for the road of the scammers. Thats how I lost a few hundred mils off PLEX trades.
Without any indicators ,consequences and punishments, and with most of them being alts and trade toons which they'll destroy once a successful scam is done.
Its an incredibly favorable environment for scammers.

NOW LET ME SAY IT!
I am not asking for CCP to ban all the scammer, no!
This is just a thread of me yapping about the conundrums we face everyday in eve .thats all.

Who scammed you & how much did you give them? I want to congratulate this person.

Not exactly , I am talking about station trading , in the trade window , you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about the stuff you are getting.
Thats an issue, I have been never scammed in a contract before , but directly player via player trading, once .And I say, once is more than enough, and maybe this sort of loophole needs to be fixed.
And as for waffles, I love waffles with maple syrup , but have never played on a Raffle before, and from what I know ,its just an easy way for people to scam isk and disappear, as shown by how many of them has come and gone over the years.
I once emailed CCP about it , and they say there is nothing wrong about raffle sites , and then I followed to ask them about the legitimacy and safety of it , they never gave me a reply on it.

…oh, you mean that one feature that you have ABSOLUTELY no reason to ever use to do any kind of shopping (and which warns you about not being a good choice).

You could have avoided that scam by using standard trading practices. It's not a loophole — it's a tool that you didn't use properly.

Yeah real life isn't all sunshine and rainbows, there are plenty of games out there that offer those features already. Most of us in EVE don't care for it. Some of us like the fact that everyone out there it trying to get each other in some way and celebrate each time we get ahead knowing this fact, because it then means something. It's a matter of perspective and what each of us values in this game. I've watched others get scammed and laugh at them when the scam was so obvious, cruel indeed. Pick yourself up and move on.

**Playing EVE at times feels like putting a 10000 piece puzzle together, enjoying the accomplishment of succedding in completing it, then having some random stranger walk by and flip your table over. **

Actually, damaged items are shown as such in contracts. It even displays the % of damage the item has accrued.

How do people still fall for contract scams? Haven't they essentially made them idiot proof? It used to be where you had to read them very carefully, now the contracts light up in big bright colors telling you WTF is going on.
