What is a Good Fast Attack Ship.. That can take hits?

Your terminology is very vague to give any advice that isn't a shot in the dark.

* What Lvl of Missions are you talking about?
* What ship Lvl are you at in each race? I:E Cruiser, Battlecruiser, Battleship, Gallente, Caldari, T1 Weapons, T2 Weapons, Good or Bad Core Skills?
* What is your skill time frame, do you want a ship that can do whatever Lvl of Mission in a week or two or one that can best it three months from now, or do you already have the skills and have trouble choosing.
* Are you looking for a ship that complete said mission or do them better then you can now or a Billion ISK High SP Speed Killer that will maximize the ISK per Hour from the missions you are already doing.

This information is the difference between advice that is Caracal and Vexor make a great Lvl 2 Boat and 2 Bil ISK Mach with Faction Gyro's.

im completely new to attack ships.. my time frame is unlimited.. Money isnt an issue.. High level missions.. or missions from 1-5..
im looking for a ship that can either do missions.. or pvp.. and take hits.. and do good damage.. For ISK I mine.. just looking for an attack ship to have fun with.. and not die asap.

Go for a BC to start with and figure out where you want to go from there, after you learn exactly what you want to do. I'd recommend Drake, Harbinger or Hurricane.

Also, are you looking for a shield or armor based ship (I am guessing shield as they tend to be faster, which is something you asked for). Are you looking for turret or missiles? High sec pve and some pvp? Or low-sec living? Solo, or with a friend or 3 (or an alt account)?

The 3 BC's Riot Girl listed above are indeed probably your best start. They will give you a good feel for 3 different styles of play. When you figure out more of what you want / like, give some more details and the vets on this board will be able to give you much tighter recommendations as to the ships that will fit you closest.

Much as people hate hearing talk about Drakes, one of the best attacks I've seen (on me, as a matter of fact!) was a pair of WMD HAM Drakes. In fast, hit hard, and I was floating in a pod in seconds. :) Very impressive.

I looked into the drake.. ill try it out for the time being.. a lot of my clan is trying to get me to go stealth bomber though..
For Fitting what should i look into for drake? I am thinkin of just level 3/4 Missions..

Stealth Bomber is good for ratting belts in nullsec which I think would be a bit more lucrative than running missions in highsec. I'm currently training an SB myself for that reason as I really regret training long range missiles for mission running.

If you want my extremely personal opinion, I'd say screw anything that involves long range missiles and train the SB for ratting and PvP, but you won't be able to run missions with it.

I really like the Vagabond for pve, its really fast with AB and it can passive shield tank. Works like a charm for c1/c2 wormholes.

So far about 5 more days till i can run Manticore succesfully.. however.. gonna skill up torpedo specilization first :)
