Firstly apologies for any typos. Im sending this from my phone. I've recently started exploration on my Alt using an Ishtar. Stumbled across the Blood Annex. Entered and had to leave quickly. Has anyone got advice as regards using the Ishtar for this plex? Thx in advance for any help:)

It's been some time since I ran one in an Ishtar, but here goes from memory.

First room the easiest thing is to use a tag and bypass, but if that's not an option you have to get range asap. Kill the web towers with mobile drones while burning straight up. Once you have range you should have full agro; drop sentries and kite until everything is dead. Prioritize Corpus Harbingers and Archbishops; that's where the neuts are coming from. Finally, pop the cathedral.

Second room is similar. Burn directly in the direction you came in while taking down the web towers. You'll need enough range to kite the neut BSs while popping the four rep fields (which should go down fast). You may need to warp out if you can't get range before your cap is dead.

Once the rep fields are gone, take a single shot at the battlestation to spawn the station manager. Nuke him and you're done. Bookmark his wreck and get out.

Nice one thanks. Ill give that a blast next time I encounter one. The other thing I've been wrestling with is the fit for such things. I've read some posts that suggest shield buffer where as others seem to report success with a reasonably typical( rat specific) armour tank. Any input greatly appreciated.

You're conflating Blood Annex with Blood Minor Annex here; don't do that as they're very different. Minor Annex is a ridiculous pain in anything but a fully passive fit due to the absolute inevitability of neuting (though I suppose an ASB tank would do the trick as well). Annex is better done with an armor tank and doing all you can to avoid being capped out.

Ah, didn't realise there was an annex as well. My bad. Thx for the input :)
