Im pretty new to EVE but since i got into it i started a 2nd account, 1 miner and 1 generally more combat focused. Anyway i usually play both accounts at the same time and want to use my accounts together to speed up lvl 3/4s.

My main combat account uses a pretty standard Drake with tech 2 shield setup and in about a week from now HML2s. That ship i am pretty happy with, its got good tank is good at taking out the bigger targets. For my mining char a while back after being afk while mining my crap drone skills allowed some rats to kill my retriever so i have over the past week or 2 skilled up drones alot.

I am thinking of getting my miner account a myrmidon, focusing on a setup that will let me clean up the fast frigates that it takes my drake a while to get through and anything else that might support my drake. So what i would like to know from you good people is 2 things.

1. I want this char to be a drone boat captain, is myrmidon a good ship for supporting my drake on missions?
2. What would be an optimal fit for focusing on taking out the frigs while drake tanks and focuses on the bigger ships?

Domi / Rattlesnake is a good second ship, drones do their jobs anyhow and decent damage. Or a CNR as second ship with a faster mission runner like say Machariel.

I run dual box and have max gank/buffer tank on my main and alt in a max skilled logistics. Bust through lvl4s fast and with marauders get salvage/loot as well from battleship wrecks.

Others will dislike this setup but it's worked for me.
