Well, as the subject says, I've been having really weird problem since yesterday.

My eve client just suddenly stopped working - after pressing "Play" in launcher nothing happens and eve process (ExeFile.exe) just hangs in memory. I've done nothing to my PC since 3 days ago, when it was working just fine. To add to this, I´ve just tried to run eve on my work PC and it hangs exactly the same, so it can't be my home system's problem: different PC, different OS, different software, drivers and the same error.

After running logserver I discovered, that my clients are throwing following exception during startup phase:
Module: C:\eve_online\bin\blue.dll
EXCEPTION #1 logged at 09/20/2012 17:32:08 Unhandled exception in TaskletExt object at 3b79ad8, abps=1001, ctxt=None

What I have tried:
- Running a repair tool (no errors have been found);
- Clearing eve cache;
- Moving whole client to different folder/hard drive;
- Starting client in safemode (eve.exe /safemode);
- Restarting my PC;
- Disabling antivirus software (MSSE);
- Starting eve.exe in windows compatibility mode (Win XP, Win Vista SP2, Win 7);
Nothing helped so far.

I've submitted a bugreport (144490) and waiting for a reply from CCP. If someone is having the same problems, than let me know. I'll keep you in loop about it.

fyi, it's a good thing you submitted a bug report with the logserver file. However bug reports don't necessarily get feedback from CCP. They might in this case, especially now when reading your post. If you want support, you'll need to submit a petition.

As I see it, petitions are more for ingame problems and simple tech stuff (firewall blocks eve, client cache got messed up and causing glitches, etc). Thanks for info anyway, I'll wait few more days and write a petition, if bugreport won't get processed.
