Question --
Should the four 'civilian' variants of the Empire shuttles appear here?
http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Item_Database:Ships:Miscellaneous:Shuttle

And ought the Apotheosis be here rather than under "Special Frigates"?
(I think the Zephyr and Echelon probably should stay under "Special Frigates", though.)

Has anyone checked Duality today (10/19) for the new shuttles models??

1. It bugs me that the Mining Barge section of the market is broken down differently from any other type of ship. "Mining Barge" (from the top of "Ships") subdivides into "Mining Barges" and "Exhumers." Opening either or these gets you to "ORE," which gets you to the ships. In any other case, the original "Mining Barges" section would subdivide into "Standard Mining Barges" and "Advanced Mining Barges," the prior of which would open then to ORE and the latter would do "Exhumers" and then "ORE." It seems knit picky but tbh it bugs me a little and since there is a thread for market changes I figured I would mention it. Compare to either "Destroyers" or "Battlecruisers" to see that it is unprecedented to have it set up this way even when there is only one class of Advanced Ship available, so no argument there for doing it to streamline.

2. Can we have slot 1-5 implants reorganized? Can it break to "Standard" and "Faction" when you open "Attribute Enhancers?" Then, "Standard" subdivides to slots 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, which give you the actual lists of implants. (the way it is, but with faction removed) "Faction" will then subdivide to the various sets, Halo, Snake, Crystal, etc. The only question is whether you leave the Omegas with slot six or move them to these new categories. I would leave them where they are.

3. For the love of God, can we get some order for "Fleet Assistance Modules?"

4. Organizing the boosters might also be productive?

OK, just checked. Dragging and dropping to a chat window works fine, but highlighting the text "Civilian Caldari Shuttle" (etc) and using right click Auto Link > Item Type yields "Your query returned no legitimate item types. Please try again."

Would it make any sense to switch Mission items from contracts to market?

I think so.

I found out recently that the control towers change missed the current Duality build, but it will be in the next one.

I will need to talk to some of the guys here at the office and see what they think about the whole mission items on market thing.

I'm not worried too much about the items needed to complete missions.

But can we at least get reward items from missions. The Epic arcs rewards eg: The Caldari epic arc rewards, Nugoehuvi synth blue pill booster and the Hyasyoda mobile laboratory.
I guess the other epic arcs have similar rewards at the end of them. Can they be added to the market as well?

No as they are mission rewards.

I shall poke some people and see if I can find anything out about this.

From what I've seen on Duality of the Market I think these changes are long overdue. The Market is more user friendly with these changes. Now to have faction tower BPCs drop again...

Here sanity, nice sanity.....THWOOK Got the bastard

Update 2012/10/23:

  • Updated the Mining Barges section of the market and moved all the ships up one level. Since ORE are the only manufactures of these ships there was no need to break them down into faction.

I didn't change the name from Exhumers to Advanced Mining Barges as we only have the one class of advanced mining barge. If we ever add more we can revisit this. :)

black hole mining? (With the potential to get bumped into its gravitational pull, forcing the miner into wormhole space? Twisted)

sun plasma mining? (Super-high temperature resistant barges would be amazing to look at, I'm sure, and have like 90% base thermal resist as an interesting bonus in relation to their application)

Comet mining?

While we're theorycrafting, i think terraforming would be an interesting profession for an eve player, especially with the new introduction of dust and planetary warfare...

thanks for replying to my comment! are you going to streamline destroyers and BCs the same way then for the sake of consistency?

edit: oh and also industrials/transports?

CCP FoxFour, I'd like to bring this to your attention. This would drastically reduce the time older payers spend in the market.

I doubt it, but there are a few categories that are really big and could maybe use some breaking down. What if categories like Resistance Plating and Energized Plating were broken down into damage type?

Maybe. I like the Tech2 check box though
