Search for '30 day' instead.

Hello.

I have a suggestion for the Market :

Please, add an option to filter the market in order to hide all items that are not compatible with the current ship.
Enabling this checkbox would hide all ammunitions, weapons, modules ... that can't be loaded onto the current ship.

For example : it would hide all Heavy weapons if my current ship is fregate.

Thanks

Could we please get the resistance modules ordered by type instead of all being in a big pile? For example ENAMs are in with energized explosive, emp , etc. Kinda like how they are ordered in EFT for example. This would be great.

Also could we get the armor plates to be ordered in size then meta, or separated by size? Currently its all over the place.

[edit] also same thing goes for Afterburners and MWDs.

[edit again] and can we get warp disruptors and warp scramblers separated.

I'd like to see the decryptors having their own group and switch the factions from pirate to hisec factions

Perhaps more for Karkur(?) but could the show info button in the quickbar be moved to the left side? Right now it covers over the top of additional info when you have long module names.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Hmm, as switching places from some items, do you feel PLEXes are at the good place ?
Hard question here, given it's an unique item, and that there's way to find them (on character sheet, even if this tab never works outside the link...)

PLEX could be grouped with the Aurum tokens given away last year, assuming there'll be other possibilities to attain them.

Hello CCP FoxFour, and thank you for all the work you have put into this!

During the first few weeks of my EvE experience I remember getting frustraited from not being able to filter the market by constellation.
(To the best of my knowledge, you can only filter the market to [Station], [Solar System], & [Region] in regards to range)

Later on i found a round about way, such as going to a specific item's market data page and toggling the jumps column to closest.

Even now, after playing for a few years it is still painful trying to find a generic item on the market that is not in your current solar system; especially if you are in a backwater Amarr region or low sec.

Ultimately, adding a constellation option in the Market's Range Filter function would be a great step in helping pilots accomplish their objectives instead of wasting time trying to find the closest frigate, or hull repper, or warp-core stabilizer for example.

Thank you for reading & considering this additional market filter functionality; I know your team must be pretty busy with December quickly approaching, but this would be a nice Christmas present for many capsuleers like myself.

TL;DR
Adding a 'constellation' option in the market window's Range Filter, would negate the task of comparing multiple like-items regarding their proximity to your location.

It's annoying to go through the category results to get to plex when clearly you just wanted plex. I dont think people would search plex without the intention of seeing plex. :P

But then again I could quickbar it and stop being lazy, but i always forget about the quickbar.

you know that because it is within the same constellation doesn't mean it is the closest to you right?

as it is for region...

it all depends on where you are, and if you are at a region border (or constellation if your advise is implemented), you won't see an item that might be closest to you than one which is in the region / const. you are currently in.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but: Any chance of splitting the various armor/shield hardeners up by resistance type? At the moment it's (for instance) one tab area with all EM, Exp, Kin, Therm shield hardeners and invuls.

At the moment no, there is no plan to do this. In the case of shield hardeners especially there are only three of each (T1, Limited, T2) and then the officers stuff. I don't feel that breaking that group down more would be a good thing. It is not really long enough that it is hard to browse, you often want more than one type of hardener anyways, and it tends to all fit on one screen.

There's a few things I would like to see added to the market too.

  • Interbus Shuttle
  • Guristas Shuttle
  • Goru's Shuttle
  • Civilian Amarr Shuttle
  • Civilian Caldari Shuttle
  • Civilian Gallente Shuttle
  • Civilian Minmatar Shuttle

^ These are all ships that are not on the market but are pilotable (and non-unique save the Interbus Shuttle) and should be listed. It's been annoying me for a while so I thought I'd mention it. Also, take the Apotheosis out of frigates and put it in shuttles? Since it's a shuttle?

Signatures should be used responsibly...

Just a small thing. Before the latest market UI changes i was able to rclick->find in contracts on items, now this only works on the quickbar section. When we're looking for BPCs, we'd prefer to use the search box, get the item, rclick->find in contracts. Could you please unifiy the rclick menu on the items? it's a pain that we have to either link it in a chat, or move it to the quickbar and afterwards delete it, whatever, just to get this option in the rclick menu.

FWIW you can click the blue Show Info icon next to market search results and then the menu from the top left of that window will contain Find in Contracts.

Thanks, but that's still a workaround. We're full of workaround, but not having solutions.

I was unaware this had been removed. Not my area but I will pass it onto who I think may have an idea what to do.

Thank you very much, I hope it gets addressed in the upcoming release. I don't think it's a lot of work actually. Maybe you could add such things to your regression tests?

This is very true, however we need to be realists in this endeavor.
What you propose would take considerable time and effort because the server would have time compare all regions to a specific location of a pilot.

I am looking to get a constellation filter option, which would be infinitely better than the current state.
Furthermore it would be a very small time investment for CCP and allow their customers to filter the market on a smaller scale than ... Region and a larger scale than ... Solar System.

Indeed, being able to compare market data across regions in eve would be amazing but it is a little bit naive given the small amount of time until the winter expansion.

I would also accept Pirate T3 subsystems that can be plugged into multiple T3s. Pirate

I can see why but sweet baby jesus this would be sexy.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

What of Armor Plates and Passive Membranes of which there are 6 of each type. That is very annoying to search through.

Hi CCP FoxFour,

By chance were you able to look into the additional 'Constellation Market Range Filter' request made by Viktor Zarko?

His request:
