Gotta admit seeing these new ship designs has got me wondering what they have in store for Gallente ships.
Its good to be [Gallente](http://dl.eve-files.com/media/1209/QEQlJ.jpg).

is that a minmatar ship or caldari ship?
I can't tell

Really? For me the wingy bits made that very clear.

This model isnt textured, but all in all we are seeing a "less spiky" minmatar line developing. Completed ships in this modified style is the Reaper and the Tornado, and now the new Vaga and new Tempest model is coming too. Personally I think it is an improvement over the old spikes everywhere style, which didnt really make much sense.

You missed the Hound Smile

Looks awesome; I love it. Can't wait to get in one again. Always was my favorite Battleship, even if it was ugly. Blink

I like it, Minmatar have long been the Butt of many 'balsa wood, scrap metal and duct tape' jokes. It's nice to see them get some love in the looks department.

If they introduce the new models they should still let the old ones ingame until they are destroyed in battle. Like when you introduce a new Car the older model will not get "reskinned" at the same day.
Would not be a big problem I guess?
That would help creating some diversity.

Edit: The ship looks like a japanese car somehow...and to modern for Minmatar

Well for a given value of problem but it would add new code with the always present risk of unexpected behaviour while adding marginally to the game.

And it would bloat the size of the game even further.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I like it, it seems like a natural progression of the tempest ship now that the republic is more established.

I only wish that the older tempest models could be kept somehow and "phased out" in favour of the new model.

A man can dream.

I actually prefer the current Tempest model. Then again, I'm currently using my smartphone and the image is vert dark on it, so it might look better on my laptop.

EDIT: Nope. Even on a laptop with way better lighting, I still don't think the new Tempest looks as cool as the current, rusty bucket of bolts. It lacks rust and greeble. Until that is added, my opinion will remain the same.

Love it; I hope the Fleet Tempest also gets a slightly different model as per the game previously, rather than a funkier reskin of the same. I WANT SQUARE SAILS AGAIN DAMNIT!!!!!! :(
