Ok..... i ran the caldari epic arc mission some time ago...

When i ran it before, the mission choices you made determined what the end prize was going to be... boosters or faction lab...

I have looked and looked and cannot find any guide that explains the proper path to take to get to the faction lab.

Have they changed the arc to where you end at the lab regardless of which mission choices you make? I cannot find any mention of the boosters anymore.

Can someone please help me out with this?

Thank you.

the first path choice you need to pick "an honorable betrayal". this brings hyasyoda into the mix. If you do not make this path choice the option for the hysayoda lab reward mission will not be available at the end. The last path choice you need to pick the mission "Slipping Away" that sends you back to the hysayoda agent in Wuos. Slipping away takes you back to Wuos where you get the final mission "Across The Line" which gives the hyasyoda lab as a reward.

The path choice between going into low sec or null sec does not affect the final outcome. I always choose the null sec path as the reward is significantly higher and I am comfortable going into null sec. The risk is very low in a cov-ops if you know how to fly it. I believe only the first path choice ( an Honourable betayal) and the last path choice. (Slipping Away) are needed to reach the hyasyoda lab reward.

I just ran this arc again last week and did the whole thing in about 3 hours. I multi boxed 3 accounts, (two combat and a salvager) but this was not needed to complete it, just made it crazy easy and fast. about 300 mil in rewards and bounties, 200 mil in loot and salvage, and the hyasyoda lab (worth about 200 mil currently) which I will be keeping not selling. So dam close to 1 bil in rewards for this arc. Will be doing it again soon on another toon.

on a side note. The missions are pretty much the same no matter what path you choose. even the low sec null sec choice is the same mission it is just dropping off the package at the final destination, or giving it to a low sec agent who will take it the last few jumps to the final destination. Where the choices come in is basically you are still running mostly the same missions for the same agent, but you are working as a double agent secretly for hyasyoda and giving them the intel they need to use against the agent you started with. if you are not concerned with getting the hyasyoda lab, sticking with Sinas will give you a big boost to caldari Navy standings as well as the caldari faction standings boost. Most players go for the lab though.

You can also play the arc over and over (every three or six months, one of the two, can't recall at the moment) and choose a different path next time if you wish. Same with all epic arcs.
