I think you should change the topic to "Why i am = fail"

That was your own mistake.

Update it maybe?

My EVEMON has been letting me know when accounts are about to expire... small notification just like "char has completed skill to x".

If anybody has had this problem before, they know it can be frustrating.

I set my 2 characters to train Gallente Carrier V, and Amarr Dreadnaught V. That was over a month ago.

I open Eve-Mon to check on the progress of my characters once every week.

Every time, Eve-Mon does its update and fetches information from my API, and tells me my characters are in-training.

So Today, according to Eve-Mon, my first character only has 18 hours left to go until Carrier V, and my second character only has 2 days left to go.

However, I learned this is not the case when I tried to log into the game today.

My 2 accounts became inactive 2 weeks ago, because for some reason the recurring subscription stopped by themselves, and therefore the training stopped. And all this time, Eve-Mon has been telling me that my accounts are still in training.....

Don't get me wrong I'm not raging or QQ'ing, I'm just frustrated. While Eve-Mon is a good program, and it sure is convenient - in this aspect it fails. Just trying to bring this to the attention of Eve-Mon Developers.

You know, Eve-Mon has without fail, for the last 2 or 3 years I have been using it, warned me when my accounts were near end of subscription time. Every single time on 4 accounts.

Of course there have been folks with this problem before, and the thing that you all have in common is YOU failed to set up your api or Eve-Mon properly.

Yes you are.

Wrong again, look in the mirror on who failed.

I never liked eve mon as there was always some issue with it. After a week or two the API would be glitched or there would be something wrong with the program itself. If you have an iPhone or a phone that supports apps I suggest looking into the program called "neocom" it is eft, pyfa, eve mon all in one. You can do anything from read personal , alliance, corp mail to creating fits as well as checking out the market (updated by the hour) also you can set skill plans as well check out the database to look at every npc and ship in game. I would give the program a 10/10 since it does everything I need

And CCP didn't send any mail of the upcoming situation for any account?

Many people have separate emails. 1 for gaming, 1 for work, and 1 for other stuff, etc.

I personally don't check my gaming email very often.

Also, isn't the whole purpose of Eve-Mon...to monitor your characters, and tell you their training status?

You should be mad at yourself - not a third party program.

What is up with not taking responsibility for your own screw ups??

So endemic these days
