How do I unanchor POS Beam Laser Battery's???

I'm trying not to be difficult but this issue has my entire game stopped dead in its tracks. I'm switching out towers and when I tried to unanchor 5 medium beam lasers and 3 smalls none of them will come down. All of them show crystals in the storage bay that have 0 in the stack. I found one post on here from months ago with no replies or solutions.

I found some older posts on search engines that said to add more crystals then pull them back out. That did not work. I even tried using ctl-x and ctl-c. Nothing.

I even tried shooting myself with an alt to see if it would shuffle the crystals somehow to allow me to add more or pull some out or something. Nothing.

The current theory I'm running on is that there was a workaround that people were using so you have ignored this problem for years. Which no offense I find unprofessional. Accept I think your new inventory patch fixed the workaround but the bug is still there. So that means I can't take my guns down. It's impossible. Which means I'm losing isk because none of my jobs are running at my POS. So you need to fix this. ASAP.

Yes I have already submitted a ticket under the POS category but I'm not going to sit around for a week. I am STUCK. I need immediate help. This isn't a threat it's a simple statement of fact. I have four accounts. If you can't fix this quickly I might as well go back to WoW. Isn't much point in playing eve. Come to think of it WoW just came out with a new patch. And yes I'm really really pissed off. This bug should have been fixed years ago.

First of all, try clearing your cache. (I know lame, but needs to be said :( )

You could file a petition under stuck if you really believe you need immediate help, should get a very fast response that way. People seem to have done that before http://eve-search.com/thread/1482553-0/page/1

And yeah, CCP does take their time with fixing issues that don't happen often. Almost 2 years since I reported an issue which caused me to loose materials. Still hasn't been promoted to defect.

After much gnashing of teeth and annoyance on my part I decided that waiting in the normal POS que was foolish and submitted a ticket under STUCK and this was my reply.

Although most POS issues should be handled in the POS category, this particular issue is known to be a very time-sensitive issue and so you were right in this case to petition about this in the Stuck category.

That came only about 10 minutes after I submitted it. All the guns magically unanchored and my towers is already switched out.

If the model CCP chooses to use is to not bother fixing the bug because it effects so few people I'm okay with that. However it would be nice if you posted somewhere the proper way to deal with this bug. I did quite a few searches on the mesg boards, google, and other eve only search sites. I nowhere did it say owe just petition stuck and a GM can fix the guns in 2 min flat.

May I suggest you add a blurb to the eve wiki and or post here the PROPER way to handle this bug officially...:)
