Over all the art team isn't doing bad. The new Vaga/Stabber and the Caldari Destroyer. 2 out of 3 aint bad!

The design of these ships suggests something plot related. They are all decidedly retro. Intentionally so.

But why would we be getting "new" old destroyers? Did the navies dust off old designs for some reason?


Could the Amarr get sued by George Lucas?

Maybe the the NPC Angle cruiser from the 1.2 feature page?

Poor? Lazy? Deviant? Relax. The model is *not* a metaphor for Obama supporters. You may be letting your personal bias taint your impressions of the model. Take a step and try to re-judge the ship on its merits.

I doubt it. Dagger shaped spaceships are quite common. The model also is clearly different from all the perspectives shown in the pictures. The nose is different, the hull shape is different from every SW SD model I've seen and I've seen a lot of them, the aft is completely different in design and shape, and so is the "bridge" section as it seems like a rear spoiler of a car instead of an actual bridge. I'm also quite sure the reason for that is, that someone at CCP asked the same question and made sure they're in the clear.

Always wanted that frig below the cruiser. It's pretty fail as an NPC, like a rookie ship or something. But it looks so cool.

The gall ship looks like it has interdiction spheres from SW. Reminds me of another SciFi ship I can't remember, a tanker.

We need more scrap heaps. Seriously, get your art department to look at the original Minmatar concept art. your screwing it all up. ever since Battlecruisers and tier 3 battleships you have been f-ing up minmatar ships
