I personally consider selling a ship to some random dude for very likely the double of usual price as scam.

Lets guess - the winner will take an etana or 50 bils? Big smile
If he takes an etana, it most likely will mean that it is an alt of Verge of Collapse. Even if a honest lottery makes 30 B pure profit for the alliance.

Good marketing stuff and chance to earn additional 80 B for Verge of Collapse.

You want us to do the lottery for free? How about we save the hassle and sell it to someone for 50 bil instead of offering a chance to win to the masses at an affordable price point.

There is absolutely no logic in us scamming, it would tar our reputation beyond all recognition, selling our remaining 47 etanas would become a nightmare. We would lose much more than we stand to gain. This is a chance to repay the community for all of the support they offered in the ATX.

Why would we scam for 80 bil? Its a very insignificant amount of cash to our alliance.

You guys will be red faced when this lottery finishes and someone walks away with an etana for potentially 20 mil.

Around 30 mins for each API. Its usually at the bottom and top of each hour. Hope that helps!

I for 1 am sure there are many people who are worried about there not being a third party..

I waill get Darknesss to endorse this so we can get this running smoothly.. I hold all but 1 of the etanas Gnaw has the other and i have sold 3 so far..

Gnaw is trust worthy and good to his word so keep your trolls and venom of the page.. This alliance is full of wealthy people and ofc hold assets of worth over 1.5 trill so have no reason to scam..

20m for a chance to win 50b or have the etana itself is a ******* decent deal if u ask me.. this will be the last 1 sold for at least 6 months while i'm in afghanistan or most likely till next Alliance tournament.

bump for a beautifal ship Cool

Incorrect, all the numbers are in the database, including the poster above. We are working with CCP's API which is updated every half an hour. In addition to that the user needs to use IGB and Trust the site in order for us to display his tickets.

Next I would like to address some of the questions on this forum. As far as third party is concerned, both Chribba and Darknesss were contacted and in both cases the BPC was offered as a collateral but no agreement was reached in either case.

As far as the amount and ticket price are concerned, the whole thing is fairly simple. After winning ATX we have recieved quite a bit of interest in Etana BPCs from the w-space pilots, a cloaky logistic ship would be a great force multiplier in space that has no local. W-space folk don't tend to accumulate a very large sum of ISK, they spend it on blingy pew ships, after all there is no need for a super or titan in w-space. Therefore it is only logical to conduct a lottery of a prized ship so that interested groups can have a chance to fly it.

An alliance whose members have been living in wormholes for ages and that owns 50 Etanas sure is desperate to scam 80b for one of their ships.

Really can't help some people.

Why would we ruin our reputation to scan people out of 80bil, what we gonna split 80bil between all 75 people active in the alliance then explain to them why we cant sell anymore Etanas?

you serious? For the most people in eve 80bn is worth a lot more than their reputation. And it totally does not matter how much isk your alliance has... for example, im sure that Goons have more than your 1,5 tril, but would you trust every "noname" member of them enough to send them 80bn?

The other thing is, if u have one of the most trusted 3rd parties in your alliance, its kindoff suspicous that he hasnt posted in here yet, while he secures thousands of other transactions.

on the other hand, as a seller u can sell the item for whatever the **** you want, especially on these rather rare things that are actually usefull its not unrealistc that ppl would pay that much.

If you were part of our alliance youd know just how inactive darknesss is these days and chribbra is pretty useless when it coems to actaully answering mails, youll find out yourself if you ever try and do a lottery.

anyway back to the top

As stated before the two biggest names for escrows / collateral have been contacted but no agreement was struck for various reasons. As far as me being no-name, that is true, some of w-space might know me as the guy who runs the www.whkills.info/stats page. Outside of w-space I am unknown, but everyone has to start somewhere and earn a name.

Heh, still hasn't shown up. Not gonna scream scam, but still didn't buy too many tickets without third party.

Are you using IGB to look it up? Did you set the site to Trusted? It should have prompted you with a Trusted request the first time you use it. Can you tell me exactly what you see when you open: www.vergeofcollapse.com/etana

I see your tickets in the Database, so its a matter of getting your technical issue resolved and getting you to see your own numbers. Make sure you use the IGB on the same character as the one you send the ISK from.

200mil is a multiple of 20mil, that would generate 10 tickets. In fact the system will even handle stuff that is not in multiple of 20mil, say someone sends 50mil, it will divide by 20mil and round down the number. Thus it will generate 2 tickets and the excess will be send to the Orphanages of Zamunda as per Lottery Info.
