Has anyone suggested that he could do the research at a station in the same system as the POS?

Edit: You just need the skill Scientific Networking trained 1 level? And of course, the station has to have a corp hanger.

This. On one of the POS management tabs at the stick, you can change the role required to have use, access, and [either offline or unanchor, I forget] each module hanging on the POS.

Your choices are Alliance, Corp, Starbase Fuel Tech, and Config Starbase equipment.

You do not need to give anyone CSE simply to allow them access to a module.




Yep this was it, thanks a whole bunch for all your help. I changed it to corp and all is working as intended now.

I hope you only changed the module access to corp and not the ability to online/offline modules to corp. Because then anyone in your corp could just walk in and offline the tower. (Unless offline and online are separate options, I don't remember exactly.)
