First: How does the market work?
For Example, do you get normally expensive ships for free?

Second: Do you start out with ISK.

Third: Is it still open
Like is TS still online publicly.

Certain systems have stations that are seeded with items that cost 100.00 ISK. Normally, you will find just about everything you need or want to try out.

The test servers use mirrors that are taken from Tranquility. If you have an active character on Tranquility at the time a mirror for a test server is taken, then you will have the same amount of ISK on the test server as you had on Tranquility.

This depends on which test server you want to access. Buckingham is the current test server for EVE updates. It is open to anyone who had an active character at the time its currently utilized mirror was applied.
