In-Game Events and Gatherings

I have created thetrillioniskpage.com to create a special part of eve that will always be there. The reason for this you will see below, but it will not happen without you fellow pilots

I work at a computer repair/website company and my boss and a few workers play EVE. So one day I think ok I’ll give this game a go and discover that it's not just good but amazing.

Anyway being the new player I am, I get the boss who’s been playing for years giving me constant stick about how poor I am and how rich he is, so after a healthy eve debate the gauntlet is thrown down and the bet is set.



He has bet me that I wouldn’t be able to make a trillion isk within a year without playing solid, obviously I countered that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. So with the target set all that had to be arranged was the stakes.



If I manage to do this, he will have to step down from his job as boss for a week and will instead work as the cleaner and basic dogsbody around work. Which I am going to get photos of and stick them on the site.

If I don’t manage to, then I will be doing the same thing.



So with the gauntlet thrown down, the bet set and the stakes arranged we both took our ten paces and I started to brainstorm how to do it.

Then I came up with the idea to use my job and EVE together to bring something to the game that has never been done. So furiously working away on the site with images of my boss having to scrub the toilet bowl every day for a week driving me forward I finally completed it.

So the concept is this, any player of EVE can buy a pixel on the site for 1,000,000 isk, the pixels have to be bought in blocks of 10×10 so at the very least a small image can be placed, once all the pixels have been sold the site will have raised a trillion isk.

Now I know a trillion isk is a lot and to be honest I know some things I would like to get, a few ships, implants, some game time.

But that would still leave loads, so I thought once it’s done I will run a prize draw as well.

So not only will all the pilots of EVE who join to make their mark in some new history of EVE, along with the link that the pixels will head to advertising a site/forum of your choice, but 11 lucky winners at the end will get chosen to recieve the following prizes:

Out of ONE TRILLION you're gonna hand out a single Rorq and 10 PLEX? What are you gonna do with the other 990 Billion? Maybe if you gave it ALL away in prizes, you'd have a chance. Have fun being the cleaning lady.

Dude, just do the faction warfare honeypot. You could probably make it most of the way if not all the way there in a couple months.
