Intelligence Tools.

So we know CCP is going to create a proper intelligence tool. Here is how i envision it:

Intelligence window, has several subscribable intelligence channels (like the chat channels, including permissions and who is allowed to join/report).

Each intelligence channel has an intelligence history, similar to Broadcast History (including a Clear History button).

Someone that is an allowed broadcaster sees a hostile. Be it overview, local (if local is still available, it might not be) or directional scan. He right clicks it, and click on Report > "x" intel channel.

If the hostile reported has been reported from the LOCAL chat (or something similar upon time of implementation/replacement), the Intelligence History window of everyone subscribed to it will flash with the following information " 'enterplayername' spotted on 'xxxx' system, 'x' jumps away from your current location"

If the hostile reported has been reported from the OVERVIEW, the Intelligence History window will flash with the following information " 'enterplayername' spotted flying 'entershiptype' 'entershipname' on 'xxx' system, 'x' jumps away from your current position.

If the hostile reported has been reported from the DIRECTIONAL SCAN, the Inteligence History window will flash with the following information: " 'entershiptype' 'entershipname' has been spotted flying on 'xxx' system, 'x' jumps away from your current position.

Pretty much what we already have with the intelligence chat channels, just more organized and more efficient.

Thoughts?

Ah, and if its more than one person, the broadcaster will shift-select all relevant contacts, will right click and report > 'x' intel channel as normal, but the intel report on the intelligence history will a plural statement like:

" 'enterplayername' spotted flying 'entershiptype' 'entershipname' on 'xxx' system, 'x' jumps away from your current position, as part of the following group of "x' individuals" where "X Individuals" would count the number of selected contacts by the broadcaster, and the "following group" would be a clickable entry where one would get the complete list of names, ship types and ship names (where appliable).
