For example, the battle of 6NJ back in 2010 when the NC suffered the biggest disaster in EVE history (at that point) when their invasion of Venal went badly wrong. Also the "ghost Titans" that resulted from the fight.

Eve history is very long and complex. Often the same people are involved with completely different groups at different times just to make it even more complex. I like to think of it in terms of Eras, makes things easier. The first era was well before i got into 0.0 politics etc and started before the game even launched. It probably ended with the Great Northern War. The best era was probably the great war era which is basically the rise and fall of BoB, repeatedly. The current Era is the Era of goon domination and PL riding bikes, so far it has been pretty dull.

Within each Era there are a whole host of histories for each region of eve with the rise and fall of many entities. Generally speaking the guys who bring down the old order are themselves brought down in turn, though some scum always manages to float to the top.

Providence as a region has its own lolRP history almost completely seperate from the rest of eve politics since like 2004, its like a wizard hat north korea. like when sylph was disbanded by some guy who got director roles within 4 days of his corp joining
