[Video] DRONE HARASSMENT - solo/duo/small scale pvp

Hi!

This is going to be my first video from the best fights my corpmates and myself got over the last three months or so. And it is not another frig pvp video.Shocked

Ships flown: Vexor, Myrmidon
Play with: Anything that can use H264 codecs

All fights are boosted as indicated in the video. No expensive implants are used. Just some cheap 3% tank implants. None of my clones was worth more than 50 Million. I had a lot of fun during these fights and it shows that solo armor pvp is not all dead.

Music is from Daft Punk from the Tron: Legacy movie. I hope you enjoy it and I am open for any constructive feedback.

In my Opinion EVE got a new good PVP-Vid Maker, the first and the last fights were my favorites.
The myrm and vexor were great ship choices, good to see something else then "Ancillary Booster all the things".
I appreciate that you didn't speed things up to much, so you have a chance to notice all the piloting and cap management happening. Editing + Music was a great choice in my opinion. Will probably watch it again multiple times.

Easily one of the best EVE videos I've seen both in content and presentation. It was especially interesting to watch because I'm training to fit and fly Vexor and Myrmidon effectively and it was good to see how more experienced players manage their drones (since I have the nagging feeling that I'm doing it ineffectively...).

The music was also spot on, although I was little disappointed that you didn't use Derezzed from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack Blink However, I noticed that at some louder parts of the music the signal levels were too high and the audio got distorted, which was a minor nuisance. You might want to check the signal levels on your next video.

I also have question about your fits: what's the reason for using projectile weapons in your Vexor when it does get bonus to medium hybrid turrets?

Anyway, keep the good stuff coming, it's like bio-digital jazz, man... Cool

impeccable editing, pretty good fights as well, the vexor fights (both RR and xlasb) were my favorites

The reason for not fitting medium hybrids are quite simple:
- You don't have enough powergrid to fit medium turrets
- They use cap
- You could fit light blasters, but then you would have to exchange a rig or fit only a small nos. I was really pleased with the medium one since you can keep your cap up even with MWD perma on.
- The drones do 416dps and the guns 110dps, so exchanging guns would not increase this much. The main damage comes from the drones.

most enjoyable, fantastic job. Not only is this a great showcase of pvp but also a great showcase of how to present eve material in an exciting way for the viewer.

Enjoyed it, even though you should have really killed that Manticore earlier in the last fight - would have reduced incoming DPS massively considering he had a Target Painter as well.

I watched this last night and it was excellent. Just to parrot what some others have said, you might want to be cognizant of your audio levels to avoid any distortion, but it only happened a couple times and took nothing away from the video. I also liked the speed you used for the fights, it was really appropriate for brawling fights in which module management is so crucial. All in all, a great video and an excellent first effort. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.
