Transfer ownership of POS in WH

Is it possible? How would I go about it? I am trying to buy a WH with a POS set up already , so I want to know how I will be able to make it happen.

Pretty much it has to be taken down and set back up.

Generally the easiest way is to buy your own control tower. Anchor it and online it. Then as the other guys offlines and unanchors modules, you haul them to your pos and anchor and online.

Finally when they unanchor their control tower, take that back to jita and sell.

Ok, I see. I will see if I can make this work. I think I will contact Chribba and see if we can somehow do this and still take delivery of the capitals that come with the WH.

Only option, if you want everything to stay up, would be to take over the corp that you're buying the POS from.

Ok, I don't think that taking over the Corp would be a option.

What the goal here is to take over a WH with as little effort. As far as setting up defenses , I am total noob. I have never set up a POS with defense modules. From what I have read it can take quit some time to set everything up.

What we are worried about is taking possession of a bunch of caps in the WH and then it taking 24 hours to set up a proper defensive set up with our POS.

I can't believe there is no way to make this easier.

Someone with some knowledge help figure out a way please .

I am afraid there is no easy way to do it. POSes are a pain in the arse.

setting up a pos will not take up 24 hours


anchoring and onlining a large tower is 1 hour in total (30 minutes anchoring 30 minutes onlining)

anchoring mods and defenses 5 second per mod/gun
onlining defenses is 2 minutes per gun same go's for ecm, neuts, scrams etc..


corp/ship hangars online in 5 seconds



don't use missile battery's they suck


if it is a c1, 2, 3, 4 you only need small and medium guns as you wil be the only1 with capitals


alway's ancher more guns, ecm, neuts than you can online

use third party wen buying a wh with capitals for sure

That is the way. You are talking to people with knowledge.

Best bet, make some safespots

Board caps, warp to safes, log out. Keep them logged off until you get the POS transferred.

And yes it is a highly tedious process. It may not take 24 hours, but it can take Awhile. Much better these days tho. What the last post glosses over is the final step of adding ammo to the batteries, which requires flying to each one etc.

Easiest way is: Actual pos owner puts pos offline - unanchor it. You collect it with a hauler, launch it for corporation, anchor, online it. Do the same with the defensive moduls (guns, Jammer, Disruptors etc..). Corp and ship arrays the same way.
