I have used a char I never use as a cover for this because I want to say my piece without being hung for it on my real character. You'll see why when you read.

Every country needs an armed force, I am from the UK and I have no feeling for dead soldiers because those soldiers signed up to die. Anybody in any armed forces signs up to potentially die when they enrole, It's part and parcel of the job.

Ever play "Cannon Fodder" on the Amiga?

Is it a waste of life? of course it is.

I personally believe that anyone who joins the military is stupid. Look how long it took to find Bin Laden.....or did he get found? Has anyone seen pictures of his body?

Saddam - pictures globally.
Saddams kids/family members pictures globally.
Bin Ladens relatives pictures globally.

Weird how there was nothing of Bin Laden - is he "really" dead? I don't think so but again getting back to the topic all of the US and UK and other countries could not find him with 100s of billions of Dollars/Pounds/Euros

The military is a joke.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice for the greater good, as soon as the twin towers came down and al qaeda owned upto it we should have sent a few dozen nukes over there and wiped the place out. That's my view....

Its awful that people die, but they don't do it for their country they do it for a great salary and a very good pension. This Vile rat guy, it looked as if he passed in a blaze of glory. Awful way to go but at the end of the day he is:

1 man on a planet of 6 billion

That planet is 1 of billions in this galaxy

This galaxy is 1 in an infinite number of galaxies

He is insignificant.

Yeah, the moon landing was a hoax too.

In before the lock.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

IBTL....and just...WOW.
Lets hope you and yours are never attacked by terrorists, due to lack of military intervention....

Wow. Just wow. IBTL.

First off, the planet has 7 billion inhabitants.

Secondly, you'd slaughter millions of innocents because of an attack by extremists on a far smaller percentage of the population of a western state?

Thirdly, this kind of trolling isn't even funny, and it surpasses sad.

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

Im responding with my character cus I can own up to getting flamed.

Firstly, 1 in a billion may be insignificant, but actions are what truly determines significance.

And his job made him hugely significant.

More than I can say about you Mr. Anonymous. The only truth about you is that you're a coward.

Ah hem...Vile Rat had so much more courage than you could ever possibly summon from drinking a few beers and vomiting forth whatever your stunted imagination could churn up from behind your computer screen.

I do not drink
I do not smoke
I do not take drugs

My imagination is not stunted.

However I am sitting behind a computer screen under an alias. Cowardly? I am agreeing because It's not often I speak my mind on this specific topic. I do this very rarely but my friends and family know how I feel.

My family has members in the armed forces on the front line. I know how it is when the worst happens.

Hey do you know how to speak German. I dont think so! and you can thank a dead soldier for that. Honestly the fact you chose to use an alt to post shows that you are nothing more then a coward. American cemetaries are filled with alot of 1 in 6 billion people but to say that dont count or dont matter to the people who knew them is just wrong.

nothing strange here.
As people say: death of millions is a statistics when death of 1 person is a tragedy. Don't know who is author.

So when lots of people cry "oooh... he's killed!" about 1 person they wouldn't be bothered by lots of people killed by USa forces for last 50 years. Seriously: 1 war started by USA every 1-2 years for from 1950 till 2000! How many people was killed? I think lots.
Just remember 1 last war: USA invaded Iraq. I have heard there was about 1.5 million people killed for 10 years.

But here we have killed 1 person and every Eve player should feel sad.

This is human nature. Nothing strange.

Please keep politics and rants out of the game/forums. I would also advise showing a bit more compassion.
