Lovely and fitting tribute.

Never knew him, but in real life, he was clearly quite the hero :-/

Vile Rat was the HEART of the Goons,

That HEART of his, extended out of the body of the Goons & flowed all across New Eden,

His HEART did change Eve Online in many positive ways,

And with that knowledge of his HEART, I & the Eve Online community have been touched by something special,

I never knew him or heard of him before this but thank you for the well written tribute. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

May Vile Rat R.I.P my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this tragic time.

I say to CCP let there be a tribute of some form to remember and honour such a fine and committed member of the EVE Online community.

we are going to do a thing this saturday in UMI, shooting starts at 1900 Eve time.

"Vile Rat Memorial Not Purple Shoot It Diplomatic Disaster Op"

Bring whatever expensive stuff you can afford to loose. Rules are simple, form a fleet, whatever is not purple shoot. When your targets are all dead, just shoot everybody else!

Fun starts at 1900, avoid shooting until then. Nobody is going home flying a ship. Just lets have fun in the biggest thunderdone ever and remember Vile Rat.

In the end if you shoot a blue -> tell Vile Rat

It was so awesome yesterday to see the whole community stand behind Sean in so many ways. An intelligent, peaceful man killed by pure ignorance and hate, there is little more despicable.

That was a moving tribute, very well written and for that I thank you. I didn't know him but can relate to 'real-world' exploits, the light of which he was involved in and which ultimately let to his untimely demise. It has reminded me once more, as if it ever needed emphasising, that Eve is just pixels. Very emotive ones but pixels just the same.
