Questions regarding suicide ganking

Ive just got back into the game after a long lay off and i wanted to try my hand at suicide ganking. Initially i want to keep it pretty low level to begin with.

I have three accounts two will be used for ganking and the third for cleanup.


I was looking to gank untanked industrial ships on auto pilot to begin with and i was wondering if two Arti fit thrashers would be effective.

i know that they will only get of one shot before they are destroyed so alpha is everything.

for instance can two arti fit thrashers take down an untanked sigil or bestower?

or are they very limited these days in what they can take?

Don't start unless you know what you're getting yourself into....

In a matter of three weeks or less depending on who you blow up those accounts will be useless. When you start becoming a pain to a large group of people they can easily make the rest of your eve life miserable and stay well within the rules.
It will get to the point that as soon as you login you will have people hunting for you. All your known locations will have already been mapped. I will not matter to some what ship you are in they will find you and kill you over and over until you either make amends by paying them a large amount or in most cases disappearing for a couple of months and hope they forget who you are....

Blaster cats would work better, but give it a shot. With arty you need time for more than one volley before CONCORD shows up, so try it in .5. I'll be curious to know how the arty Thrashers work for you.

You forgot to add "just kidding!" because in reality no one will bother to take the time to do that. Preferably target industrials in <0.7 systems to lower CONCORD insta-death.

Alt translation: I got suicide ganked and am butthurt about it, so I will try and dissuade others from doing it.

A further question i should have asked is will the gate guns destroy my thrashers before i have a chance to get of a second volley

I can say from experience most large corporations do not like one ^*$(@(* flying around suicide ganking their stuff which is what this guy is looking to become unless he gets friends fast....
If he becomes enough of a pain he's in trouble...


Note: I haven't actually been suicide ganked and if I had wouldn't give a flying %()#) this is eve..... never bring on the field what you can't afford to lose even in High sec...

Let me tell you: most large highsec corporations are comprised of idiots who wouldn't know pvp if it was molesting them in a dark room. People will get angry, and will swear eternal vengeance, but that vengeance is often...its not much of a threat.

If you have no tank and you're using Artillery, then I think they would, yes.

Oh god yes but those aren't the people he needs to be worried about or even to go after.....
It isn't the High-sec corps that have the good stuff it is the low sec/null sec corps and their alts.

Suicide ganking is tougher now that barges and exhumers can have the eHP of a battleship. Mostly what you're looking at is industrials and frigates carrying a few bil in BPOs in trade hubs. If you want to do hisec piracy, ninja looting from missioners and hoping they shoot back is a decent way to go, from what I hear.

As for the "eternal vengeance of hisec carebears" bit, it's just as it's labelled on the can. Carebears get angry and will vow vengeance. And then come after you in their 1000+ DPS EFT Certified Golem, just ready to get ECM'd by a sneezing shuttle. And that is when you'll profit. You will be a laughing terror among the stars, taking advantage of your prey's stupidity, anger, and resulting poor choices.
