Missions & Complexes

Well i want to start to get involved with exploration such as hacking sites and archeology and such. I was wondering what would be the best setup as i have 2 accounts, One account (amarr) has max probing skills and logistics skills but no combat skills, whilst my other char has lvl 3-4 scanning skills and max logistics skills and is purely pvp and c an fly all sub cap ships with Amarr and Gallente, but doesn't not have sufficient missile skills.

i/ was thinking a well tanked ishtar and my alt in a cov ops?

I will mainly be in low sec.
