Are there chat channels in game for programers to seek help and share ideas?

Hi,

Pretty much just the above really?

I am going to be learning programing of some form or other and was hoping that there might be a channel in game that i might call on for assistance now and again.

Maybe not in game, but there's #eve-dev on irc.coldfront.net

(just get an irc client (chatzilla is a client which is a firefox plugin) and connect)

using irc for chat has alot of advantages, so join us on irc, the ingame chat would require to run an eve client all the time
