OP is a tool, he's clearly made it obvious that he wants to go out in pimp ships and expect to take down 5-6 man gangs without expecting ECM or logi.

The fact that he calls everyone who doesn't agree with his rage-quitting post a troll shows how he really doesn't have any comeback other than just saying the game is broken and CCP needs to fix it.

Solo PVP is not dead, its that you appear to have no clue on how to break down bigger camps or go into fights with any other mentality than "i'll press f1-8 and everything will explode", there are dozens of videos on youtube of solo pvp'ers breaking down far bigger camps than you've come up against and getting kills, even if they die themselves. There may have been more solo fights back when but has already been said you need to adapt with changing times, finding ways to break larger camps or as Kil2 does so well is that he knows what he can take down and how to go about it. It's shown you do not by the way you are bawling on here...

Adapt or die, or in your case, just quit Roll

Your mentality that you have 90m SP and a bling fit and should therefore be able to "solo" multiple spaceships illustrates your lack of understanding of game mechanics.

Battles in Eve are won or lost in the fitting window, and the fitting window should be used only after intel on the enemy has been attained.

2 properly fitted 20MSP pilots/ships should be able to **** any 90MSP subcap if they know what hes flying.

I'm not going to say good riddance tho, nor will I ask for your stuff.

in every instance so far as my last test of "JUst for ***** and giggles" there has been at least 1 logi and / or Falcon in a fleet much outnumbering myself

now obviously i got around 90m sp and my fit is worth about 2 billion, so a fair fight would be at least 3 or 4 average battleships vrs me or 7 or 8 bc's vrs me, so i wasnt expecting any 1 v 1's....

but everything in this game is now just numbers game

but whatever im not the last to go for this reason.

Join red vs blue. We have ample silo pilots and a system we use just for soloing. Granted that system is for frig 1 v 1s, but still good.

Yes. Yes it is.

That's pretty much summing up the problem I see here. People want to win on their terms != 'good solo pvp'.

To my mind, if you stick two or even more ships together, and call that PvP, you're over-simplfying the situation. In these cases the fight would have been won before the pilots undocked. The thing that makes it interesting, is how you adapt to those situations, avoid/engage in fights.

Seriously, the complaints about ECM have been going on for years. So have the Tuskers, Black Rebel Rifter Club, etc.

I think some of you just need to take a break to be honest. Either that or join a group of like-minded people who can encourage and support your initiative, and help get you back on track.

Eve is about the journey.  If you are so focused on making money, that you insist on having the tools to make it be made as autonomous and easy as possible, then you are never going to have as much fun as I will.

i didnt really go in expecting to win simply off of a fit and skills... i didnt really go in expecting to win at all, how can you win when the majority of times all you run into is blobs

this isnt the only reason im quitting theres a long list of reasons this game is just... well not what it use to be i guess i made another post a while ago with my bitches/moans/complaints/suggestions

the fact that i can go through 100 lowsec systems 3 different times on different days, and at the end of each time all i run into is a new blob is pretty much just like... well... i use to do the same thing and get multiple fights and no blob all the time

You know why that is, right? It's because you were flying around in an expensive, valuable target that takes a lot of damage to kill, and they have scouts. to them you're either ignorant of how PvP works, or you're a bait ship for a fleet, and most people aren't going to assume the first. So they bring their friends, to either kill you as quickly as possible, or also engage the trap they think you're setting. They're the ones that are engaging you here, do you expect them to not come fully prepared?

Take your next few suicide runs out in something other than BSs. Take out a few HACs, or a Vigilant, or maybe something that doesn't scream "Hey, you're going to need a blob to engage this."

OP its not often that i say this but you are an idiot. Do you not understand the basic rules of PvP


First up start in frigates. they allow you to escape if things get hairy or at most you will lost a few million

Speed is always the key which is why so many solo pilots fly vagabonds (very badly)


Take a cloaky ship and pick your fights anything but what you have been doing


A solo battleship is always going to die badly

I wouldnt go as far as the OP, but for a person of my skill level, finding fights isnt hard, but finding fights im willing to have is. Ive spent the last two nights out roaming to no success, and when I finally got tired, i did a ded site and got killed in there when someone probed it down. I even fit an exequoror in the hopes that people would think im mining and fight.

I get an amazing amount of solo PVP. I do some cool dual boxing, undock my main from my second account in maybe a Drake or a Harby... I get him orbiting the station.... The I sneak up with my other toon and blast myself. BOOM !!!!

The reason it works so well is I stop my anti-psychotic meds the day before and don't remember it's me I'm shooting...
