I am a strong believer in status quo. Its broken, I like it broken, stop fixing it.

If you boost the cheap t1 ships, without boosting the veterans ships, you give advantages to newbs. If you then boost the veterans ships at a later date , things will be back where they were before so what is the point.

This ship rebalance reminds me of the introduction of the strategic cruiser. a few month old strategic loki pilot who bought a few plex to pay for his ship can outgun a 5 year old sleipnir pilot with focussed dedicated training for maxed out skills. still can. it made the sleipnir virtually disappear.
but they are here now, we have adapted, leave it alone, stop fixing it.

Instead of worrying about new ship fits and all the permutations of changes to ship performance, why not leave all that as it is and let players learn to play better.

I was thinking, and would like to ask: have you guys ever considered or tested change de caldari ships missile bonus to not only kinetic, just like any other race? The others ships have their bonus to damage not restrained to just one type.

I understand as well that most races dont have a ammunition that just gives 1 type of damage, in general they are mixed, and in some cases you cant even chage your type of damage, like blasters and lasers, but there are cases where you get full bonus to any type of damage like drones.

So why the specific damage bonus to kinetic on caldari boats if no other race have that?

Probably CCP have tested this and realized that due to the specific damage selection on missiles it would be overpower if the caldari ships bonuses were general like the others... just wondering.

You mean like they have already done on all the caldari missle ships balanced so far (kin dmg -> rof bonus)
