IIRC they can split ewar - anyhow assuming they don't immediatly try and warp out one will probably die before they realise, another probably pointed and die and possibly even a 3rd depending on their target switching - a full escalation wave can potentially kill an RR tengu in under 20 seconds.

Yes indeed they can split ewar but very rarely and when they do 1 tengu will be neuted the other pointed.

Assuming they have not got a scout and the whole fleet has fallen asleep at there keyboards yes this is a possibility.

I will be watching this with the hope that it is one pro guy flying a bunch of tengus and they all die in a fire. Would amuse me alot

Alright, thanks. Pretty much what I wanted to know. This will amuse me (and probably get my carrier killed at some point but who cares).

Good luck!

Bummer. For additional escalations does it have to be a different cap, or are they triggered by any cap landing? That is, if you can get 2-3 warp points on grid in a row a couple hundred kms apart can you skip along the line to keep spawning them,or do you have to leave and get a new cap?

It has to be a different pilot.

Learned something new! So has anyone tried swapping pilots in a cap while on grid to see if that would trigger it? Not that this is not one of the dumbest ideas out there...imagine the rage that would happen if someone happened to be in boarding range during the swap and ninjaed a cap.

Could ask this stuff in alliance m8! Maybe get some faster responses!

I like to think that I might have encouraged someone to eject from their caps in mid site hopefully resulting in a stolen cap and/or two pod kills. Or someone setting up a number of warp points in a site and warping their dreads around like crazy.

Also...not logged in ;-)

depending on how many pilots you have and how much a **** you want to be but you could extend grid to 200km warp a dictor in on the tengus (if possible drop a couple bubbles and then warp 2 carriers in at 300km (but still on grid)

most rr tengus dont have prop mods so if you get a good bubble on them they'll be in it a while and 14 sleeper guards would probably wipe out rr tengus fairly fast sit back giggle and get a zephyr ready to loot the field

The geniuses with the idea of swapping into cap ship while on grid. You can't, the NPC lock on the ship prevents anyone but the original pilot from getting in it.

Why would you say that?

You weren't supposed to say that

I could be wrong, but I heard the escalation happens when you initiate warp, not when you actually land. Couln't you initiate and cancel warp to escalate on them?

I live in a c5 and often do escalations. The spawn happens soon as the carrier arrives on grid. Not during warp.

Say I jump into a C5 and see a tengu fleet doing a site. Will an escalation of 6 Sleepless Guardians kill them? I.e. can I take a carrier, assign fighters to a zephyr or whatever, warp into their site, spawn the escalation leave, and watch them die on d-scan?

Or will they likely be able to tank it and I will have just done them a favor in terms of isk they get?

Why not just msg me when you find them? Then you can watch them die without any risk.

Don't lose hope, that sounds like a challenge! How many targets do the sleepers lock? Keep warping in and ejecting from ships until they unlock the cap, then hop in.

Anyone who.wants to take on the challenge, please remember to fraps it, and invite official witnesses to see your win!

Also, do you know this.from experience? Lol

An unmanned capital under fire from an escalation wave will go down pretty fast - scarily fast infact.
