I would assume (and my assumption is correct fro a later post of yours) that you found the wormhole from hi sec.

If you were able to get BACK INTO the wormhole from lowsec, you SHOULD have been able to scan down another exit to hisec.

Now, this s coming from a bigger noob than you, so please do not rely on my comments!

So for clarity... I have two accounts. A miner and this character. I used heron to look for hidden mineral fields and ran across the wormhole in 0.6 space. I went in the worm hole and scanned it to find minerals inside..... I then found the exit. After bookmarking all the major points I gave the locations to my miner who was jetcanning all the minerals. When I was done I was using my miner + this character (switched to a badger) to get my jetcans back to highsec. I didn't mine or scan with my badger :-)

The wormhole closed after my badger was in collecting more jetcans but luckily while my miner was at home base. Since I had the bookmark to the exit already my only way out was lowsec (0.1).

Well it sounds like you were the one who colapsed the WH. This page explains a lot of the basics.

You've gotten a taste of the excitement and the rush of life outside of Hisec. There's more where that came from :)

Do a bit of research on wormholes and w-space in general -- there's a lot of information out there -- and consider coming back. Learn how to use d-scan and combat probes to find things quickly, and skill up to fly a Covert Ops frigate if you haven't already.

There is danger here, but there is also much more. Sometimes you'll be rolling in ISK, sometimes you'll need to clean the brown stains from your pod, and sometimes you'll be "blessed" with a brand new pod :)

Keep trying it, find a corp with friendly and helpful people, and you'll never want to go anywhere else.

It makes the game so much more fun...

I remember doing something similar a looong time ago. First time I had ever used probes, found a wh in hisec and popped in. I had heard these weird conversations among my corp mates of WH this and that, collapses, the danger, but I had no idea. Anywho, scanned around in a magnate, found a grav site, and went to town mining some Arkonor and hauling the jet cans. I was faithful with the dscan as I had been told!
Course.. Then a corp mate jumped in and said "jesus what are you doing! This is suicide!"

Turns out, having never used dscan before and having no idea.. My range was still on the default 1000km... It was a vastly populated WH, and I had been mining and hauling for like 3 hours...

So, yeah.. Lone retriever from hisec in your grav site? not always bait..

Hmm... this is something else I failed to do. I didn't use 'dscan' at all. I just kept an eye on a custom 'combat' tab I made for any incoming ships. I'll have to go read some basic guides on dscanning and how to properly use it.

Pretty much by the time they show up on your overhead, it's too late.
