When I was new to EVE, I loved reading the fluff news articles. They made the gameworld seem alive and buzzing, even if I didn't have anything to do with them. I also hoped for more 'everyday' things to really flesh out the immersion - important person obituaries, cultural event announcements, etc.

Unfortunately, these articles are no longer being written regularly. Bemoaning their loss and raging at CCP was certainly an option, but I thought it might be more productive to just start supplying some more from pure player initiative.

I've started writing some articles that draw inspiration from the Lifestyle sections of newspapers everywhere, to give form to daily New Eden existence. To focus my efforts a bit, I decided to concentrate on a single metropolis, Caille. Due to time constraints on this purely volunteer endeavor, this is a monthly periodical.

I'll keep an archive of these articles here:

All feedback is welcome; if you have an idea or a request for an article, feel free to send me an evemail!

P.S. - This character is an alt created just to publish these articles. There might be some delay in responding, as I might be off playing my main.

This is very awesome and inspiring to see someone actually taking initiative.
Mind if I forward something I might write to you?

A second article has been posted in the September issue thread. And feel free to send me whatever you have in mind. I'll be sure to read it.
