Hi,

I want to start buying some nice(r) modules for my ships and am wondering if there are particular LP store stations that I should be visiting for prices better than the larger trade hubs?

I used to run a few FW missions for the Minnies and remember that HEK was a key point for me where I started my run and ended it (can't remember why). So I am wondering will most people cash out there (and in similar key locations for other races) or is it going to be a case of visiting just about every station that has a store?

ps... I simply refuse to shop at the major hubs and would much rather a low/sec run to get something considerably cheaper.

The costs in the LP stores are the same regardless of sec status. You'd want to shop in the stores in which you have LP. If you have FW LP, you'd probably want to check what tier the militia is, or you'd end up spending more on items than at a different store.
Most stores only have certain modules, which is why trade hubs happen.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

thanks for the reply, but I think you may have misunderstood my question or it was poorly phrased.

I want to purchase (with ISK) faction modules for my ships. I want to get these at the best price, thus I figured I'd to to where people tend to cash in their chips (faction LP). Thus I was wondering if the common procedure to cash them in at various stations dotted all over the place and perhaps haul the goods to a hub or if people tended to go to the hub to exchange their LP.

If you want to BUY the modules go Jita and buy them.

I think most people will sell their modules at a hub, as you're more likely to sell them. You can try setting up buy orders at low sec LP stores, but it'd be pretty hit and miss. I think you need to get over your hate of the hubs.
