Transfer of Ships / Kit between Alts

Is it possible to transfer ships / kit between alts? Especially if both alts are different races and in different areas

I have an old character I used to play many years ago (Galante) who has some nice kit I would like to transfer to a new character I just set up a few weeks ago (Amar)

I'm a returning player after over 5 years absence, and I didn't want to jump straight in with my old character because I've been out of it for so long and I would loose many ships scrabbling back up that old learning curveBlink.
Now, I find myself enjoying my new life as AmarLol

If you can still access your old account, you can set up a private contract from your old character to your new one, containing all the ships and equipment and sundries you want to pass over. It's not restricted by region, I don't think.

As for getting it all to where it needs to go, you can set up a courier contract, either for a friend you trust with enough hauling capacity, or publicly for anyone looking to pick up some ISK, or you can check established hauler corps like Red Frog Freight.

I can still access my old character as I managed to remember my old account password and I set my new character up on the same account Smile

There are lots of ways to transfer goods in game....

Item exchange contracts work to transfer items remotely.... You can a list of your items and their locations under the assets tab (only works for in-station assets, and wont easily show items in cans or fit to ships).

If both of you are in station, you can do a direct trade (right click on your alt and select trade). Be careful using direct trades with people you don't know that involve isk, as there are tricks to scam the trade window..

If you want less "traceable" methods of transfer, you can make a safe spot in space, and jetison cargo and/or eject from ships so your alt can scoop the cargo or board the ship.....

Note: The only way to MOVE physical assets (i.e. everything but money) is for a character to load them in a hauler and fly them from Point A to Point B. Courier contracts are the only secure method for having not-you characters move stuff, and they are only secure if you demand a collateral value of greater worth than your assets.
