Playing EVE -> Lardass

I knew I couldn't be the only one experiencing this but alas the more I find myself spending time playing EVE the more weight I gain! Although of course much the same can be said for any online game - engrossing MMOs in particular.

I disagree, have been playing MMOrpgs since 1999, and I still weigh between 145 LBs and 151 LBS. which my doctor says is the weight I should weigh. Now, I do exercise, and eat no carbs and only 1 tea spoon of sugar a day. so that may be why.

I'm a nerd, you can check my stats!! Skilling Int/Mem at 45 sp per minute is how I mack!     I'm like a lapdog, all bark no bite.

Did you even need an external link for this?

I mean, I just look at myself here in my moms basement, I'm fat as few. no need for some site to tell me that.

Your eating habits are extremely boring.

Your post is invalid. I play video games and am underweight even though I eat healthily and regularly.

If you don't eat carbs then how in the blue hell you exercise? Surely you mean "I watch the amount of carbs that i eat".

I'm 6'0 and weigh 150 lbs.

You know why? I don't sit on my ass all day or gorge myself.

Moved the thread from GD to OOPE, because to be honest, it's where it probably deserves to live.

Also removed off topic posting,

Also, I have certainly noticed a correlation between game-time and my waistline - though there is probably one between game-time and my hairline too.

Since everyone is gloating ... i'm 1,78m, weight 97kg but am fairly fit, most of that is muscle mass. No you can't have a picture.

It's not hard to get there, it just takes repetition and routine. If you work at home like i do you:

Get up at 8am;
High-protein, low-fat based breakfast;
Play EVE until 1pm (stopping at 11am for a quick carb meal);
High-carb lunch at 2pm (pasta work wonders);
Work-out from 2:30 until 4:30pm;
Protein meal;
Get home 17pm, tend to personal hygiene;
Do your work from 17pm to 21pm (stop at 20pm to have a cup of milk, and some cheese sandwich);
Sleep;
Get up 8am;

Rinse and repeat from monday to friday, and you too can play EVE and look like a greek god. Do whatever you wish at the weekend days.

I wear the same sized clothes I wore in high school.

Unfortunately, I still wear some of the clothes I wore in high school. Oops

I was just sitting here finishing up a performance enhancement to my killboard site - shameless plug: http://www.decloaked.com when my wife, who'd come down the stairs halfway into the basement to chat while I was sitting in my man-cave remarked - hey have you gained weight? Argh!

I jogged behind the baby stroller (up hills too) for 3 miles before logging on tonight and have been eating well generally. Sleep though has been less then adequate and all joking aside from this semi-troll post I started, sleep really does matter for your weight. So less time doing sedentary "activities" and more time just sleeping should help.

I weighed 150 lbs for most of my twenties and ate whatever I wanted and then hit the 30's and things began to not be quite so easy. After 40 it became a chore to avoid becoming a fat ass.

I been fat all my life, regardless of EVE or any other mmo. I just enjoy cuisine and local dishes too much, like blood sausages, german sausages in all their varieties (butifarra, polish, dark, beer salted), Pastrami, roast beef and all manners of meat served alongside rice, chicken, peas, black beans, potatoes, cheese , chops, gravy, chicken filets and omg IM HUNGRY.

Im fat and I have good cholesterol and blood pressure, mostly because I try to stay away from evil foods like junk food and sodas of all types (tho I still drink some ginger ale/dr pepper every once in a while). Healthy homemade cooking is just delicious plus nutritive.

In my office there are thin guys that local insurance companies rebuff, me? they just did a routine blood and general medical examination and here I am with my 100kilos of pure geekness with health insurance coverage no problem.

Mmmm, my lunch for today is rice bathed in chicken gravy with small meatballs filled with wheat and arabic spices (drools). I think the bane of people today is the prepackaged and frozen foods filled with all kinds of chemicals. Eat natural, eat real stuff, be happy. Life is too short, eat, but eat well, not the trash fast food joints serve. Big smile (also marry a good woman that knows how to cook) Cool
