Easiest ore value reference?

I have a spreadsheet of my own, that I can ore to calculate ore values per m3, but it requires me to manually input updated mineral prices first.

So instead, I tend to use this site, which used to work well, but according to the date it hasn't been updated in the last several weeks. I've used it a lot, and it used to be updated at lest every 2 weeks, and usually it seemed more frequent to me. But BSAC have gone dead, it seems.

The reason I liked the BSAC site is because it tells me exactly what I want, which is what ore type to mine. It doesn't waste any space on ore sub-types, because thank you I already know that C. Veldspar is worth 5% more than ordinary Veldspar and Massive Scordite is worth 10% more than normal Scordite. I know that already. The BSAC site also sorts the ore types in order every time it update(d), so that I can just start at the top and read downwards until I encounter an ore type that I remember having seen before, e.g. Scordite (rather than Arkonor).

But apparently the BSAC site is no longer being updated.

I know alternatives exist, but none of the sites I remember are any good. They tend to contain bigass tables with way more information than I need - I just need to know what to mine.

http://ore.cerlestes.de/index.html#site:ore

Just under the ore chart on the front page, you can see the settings.

I use jet can volume 27500 m3 and my refining percentage based on my current standing with the station that I refine in. then it calculates the total price per jet can for me.

That's an excellent example of failling outside of my criteria. I want simple. I only want "tells me what ore type to prefer" when I mine.

Some years ago, Pyroxeres was king. Then Veldspar. Now it's Scordite.

I don't need a gigantic hyper-detailed table, and neither do most other miners.

You press one button and it sorts the ores by value per m3, if that is too much work get the information you desire I hope no one here wants to waste the time helping you.

It's simpler than it appears at first glance. If you sort it out by ISK it shows the estimated value of a jet can of ore. Sure it has more information that you desire, but it has EXACTLY what you want. The site updates prices about every 6 hours

If you are refining ore to minerals you want to mine Scordite and Plagioclase. Both ores are third and fourth in value on the list. Ark and Mercox are first and second. I'm sorry that 15 seconds of effort is too much for you.

Click 'Appearance' so it orders hi-sec at the top, hold shift and click 'Isk'

If that's too hard for you EVE probably isn't your game. :/

The OP doesn't seem to appreciate help but I do.

Thanks very much for that site link and info. It's great.

If Cerlestes is too complex for you, then you are truly beyond all help. At least you chose the right profession. Happy mining.

Cerlestes is the best tool I have found for quick reference...
I can see at a glace how much a single load from my Mack will bring in and which is the most worthwhile rock to be shooting, or whether I should switch in some ice miners.

And the graphs showing the price in each trade hub are great for planning a selling trip... Not to mention the Market Trends which can be used to pick which minerals to hold onto...

And with only one button, whats not to like. If that's not simple enough, you'll never be happy

There is no such thing as a fair fight...

If your fighting fair you have automatically put yourself at a disadvantage.

But I have been happy with the BSAC page. Except for some reason they stopped updating.

Shocked

That's exactly what it does.

Just look at the ISK column and ignore the rest, if they confuse your feeble mind Lol

At one time Plagioclase was best. Pyroxeres was best for quite a long time until recently. Veldspar is usually a fairly dependable second although if you didn't have access to Pyroxeres then Veldspar has been best one to mine for a long time. In recent months Scordite is best and still is atm. Smile

I just do a routine check on mineral prices at my regional hub and put the numbers in my spreadsheet. Takes about 10 minutes. That way I don't have to guess at the inherent uncertainties in the tools that pull data from the server.

Paste this entire list into A1 in your sheet:
Isogen
Megacyte
Mexallon
Morphite
Nocxium
Pyerite
Tritanium
Zydrine

Paste this into B1:
=importXml("http://api.eve-central.com/api/marketstat?&typeid=37&typeid=40&typeid=36&typeid=11399&typeid=38&typeid=35&typeid=34&typeid=39&usesystem=30000142";"//sell/percentile")

There you go, current jita prices.

That produces no result, whether in MS Excel 2003 or Libre Office 3.5.2.2
