Dear low sec pilots. how much money do you make?

hey, im jsut curious to how much low sec pirates make from their ransoming deeds or looting, obviously luck of the draw would make a difference but just an average =] was just sitting here wondering.

Previously, the bulk of low sec guys funded themselves with high sec alts.

Now they just orbit the beacon in Faction War and make 100m an hour.

Interesting question. I myself, am of the opinion that the typical lo sec pirate values more a killmail than a ransom.

When I started venturing into lo sec the couple of times I was ransomed was for my pod and only after my investment (ship) was destroyed. At that point asking for a ransom was rather moot, for me at least, since I had no implants and clone was up to date. So I preferred the express trip back to Jita to resupply :).

Whoa, you must have read my mind. I was just about to say that lowsec doesn't have enough extra reward to incentivize the huge extra risk that going from highsec to lowsec entails. Spooky! Shocked

No they create noob alts to spin beacons semi-afk in a cheap frig, while having their main nearby to gank anyone foolish enough to bother them.
And your figure of 100 mil an hour seems a bit low... Actually if you find a quiet spot, you can grind 300 mil an hour easily...

Considering I've accumulated over 5 mil lp in under a week, I don't know why anyone would not be using CCP's broken mechanics...Shocked
