I saw this guy jumping into Hek. 2005 alt in a noobship, so i went after him.
Warped to gate ... he was Autopiloting ... popped him.

OMG OMG OMG SNOWBALL LAUNCHER AND IT DROPPED !!!!


Now ... after i "ran around the house three times" because i was so happy,
i actually have *NO* idea what it's worth.

Any suggestions or interest ?

(edit: oh and i also got 20 melted snowballs, which don't show up on the killmail for some unknown reason)

If you'd like, I can store it on the shelf next to the 20 I have of my own.

Not worth much, they were rather plentiful and devastating (shooting snowballs did not incur a GCC but tricked others into shooting back...sometimes).

They're useless now, unless you convert the launcher into a home for pets. Might fetch a few mil in a contract, that's about it.

free gift xmas 2008. on Jan 9, 2009 the snowballs melted. useless collector's item. maybe one day...

Think the snowballs did negative heat damage. I used some against an NPC and the visuals were great.

You could try selling it on contracts. Always someone around who's not sure of the worth :)

they got given out to every player plenty of times... I think 2005 or 2006 first time then 2008, and I think 2010 ??
all snow balls are molten now and since its not a super soaker they cannot be fired anymore :(

I bought a snowball launcher and some snowballs from a guy in Jita (via direct trade) for 20 Million Isk, I think... besides the fact that Jita local proved useful for once, it is probably vastly overpriced but as a curiosity item (and nothing more) it is nice, I guess.


I also heard some rumors that they actually still work IF the snowballs were loaded into the launcher before the melting change and only unloading them "melts" the snowballs.

I would assume any ships still fitted thusly are quite rare, though.... IF this rumor is true at all.

Can't sell the Launcher in contracts, although that may work when fitted on a ship.

Maybe i can use it for scamming ... i really hoped it'd be worth much more.
