what about the increased mineral cost?
You guys are forgetting that plexes fund the miners.
You mine enough for a plex or you don't keep the mining alt.
Same with many other passive forms of income.
The prices are actually set by the plex, and not vice verca.

Miners drop, Mineral prices go up - For those that stay the real value of plex in playing hours remains the same.
So in short
1)you're selling less plex
2)you're raising costs on everything else
3)???
4)anti-profit

so yea. good job.

do you think supply is less then demand in plex system?
i think current high plex value is an efect of manipulation notheing more, look how many unused plex are on market and try to buy all.Very quick ther will be more and more new plexys... so supply is greater then demand, much greater & if so, market dont work the way as it should.

I have to agree, Keep plex prices down, the only people they benefit are the 10-20 richest people in the game, every one else, even if their worth is between 1-1000B isk is on the losing end.

Before the OP gets any delusions of grandeur regarding the current rise in prices for PLEX, I'd like to pop in and shoot him down.

Plexes are rising in price because FW is a laughably enormous "faucet"* that is easily accessible. On top of that, CCP is running a month long Power of 2 promotion. Demand is increased, ability to purchase is increased, prices rise.



*No, not an actual faucet, that's why it's in quotes you pedantic numbskull.

The 3 factors of PLEX:

New players. Many new players buy plex when they start for some starter isk. If lots of new players are joining at a given time this can push the prices of plex down.

Ore. Many vetran players don't care about the plex to isk ratio. They care about the PLEX to mineral ratio. It's the buying power of the PLEX that is important not the isk value of the PLEX. If prices are way down and PLEX is down only a little it might be a great time to get some PLEX turned into isk. When minerals go up and down PLEX follows.

Speculation. This is the smallest factor of the 3 and the least sustainible. It's biggest infulance is around patches just like everything else. Dust will probly cause some of this one way or the other.

If you think you can hold PLEX prices at a certain point you should think again.

Honestly I think speculation is the largest factor from what I've heard of the pool of unused PLEX

What's interesting is that it isn't an ISK Faucet like every NULL SEccer's whined about with incursions but its on the verge of causeing arise in PLEX that is about to break the last year's high PLEX prices unless DrE starts releasing the confiscated bot supplies of PLEX.

I'm curious what the bounties have increased to monthlysince the drones started paying ISK & if WH blue loots have increseased at all since the flight from Incursionsbut CCP Diagoras is no longer tweeting stats &we've in a blackout period of any economic data from CCP since Escaltation pretty much.

I bet its going to hit 575 and then come crashing down to 510, basicly the market is gaining 5M isk each rally.

at 560 id test and see if I can crash it SLOWLY (painfully)
at 600 id brind it below 490 buy orders and 500 sell orders (must be repeated several times to take out most of the small guys)

The amount of posts and please asking for public support are a Massive sign of weakness, Don't put all your eggs into one basket, Play both sides and make sure your on the winning end,there is a chance, this might work, even thought most of us hope it doesn't.

Diagoras left CCP. And believe me, I think the fact that you can make this kind of isk basically risk-free is dumb...hell, ANYWHERE, just like I thought incursions were dumb in highsec.
