Isn't there something about 'clever use of game mechanics to bypass certain protocols' being also called... exploit?

You tried to beat the system and the system beat you. Someone, somewhere, is very happy that a person offered to pay 32m for a piece of ammo he had listed for far less. I would say consider this a lesson in EVE. You would have been better off buying a bunch of stuff, jettisoning it, and scooping it with your main to resell. It would have been a smaller overall loss. Cool

I have trial alts that I've sent isk to several times. I think it's the other way around - trial alts cannot give isk but can be given isk. I'm not sure about contracts though, there you may be right.

I just decided I didn't like the name of the character I'd made. I made a new character on the same account with a better name and wanted to move some funds over to that character. I'd hardly describe that as abusing the system.

It's intended to make it harder to launder money through trial accounts. In this case it worked.
