As an elected representative for the playerbase, I find these comments embarrassing and childish.

If you weren't a player representative, the comment would be amusing. But considering your position in the community, I'd expect a tad more maturity from you.

Telling the truth is childish?

I think you're shooting for "restraint" instead of maturity. But I've been quite consistent in how I've dealt with trolls, esp alt trolls, before, during, and inbetween my terms. You can disagree over my approach but dont try to make me feel bad for not being nice to a troll alt lol

Aren't you (the CSM) now kinda of irrelevant ?

Then don't vote. Pretty easy fix and since they are irrelevant they are not influencing your gameplay anyway.

You don't get to attach yourself to 3 or 4 years of expansions based on one CSM...

No matter what tripe and venom you want to spew because I have completely changed my attitude to these complete and utter failures, you cannot refute the fact that more than half this CSM ran for their current position based on an industry reform that isn't happening.

If you can by some means refute this, please do so. However, I use the minutes as my guide that MOST of the points made by the userbase in the manufacturing papercuts thread that these totally useless CSM's said they would help rectify were NOT EVEN MENTIONED.

But please, continue your stupid baseless politicking. I'm sure the brown-tongueing onlookers would prefer to ask useless question #1248712984787 on the upcoming winter expansion "War" or POS's.

At least you learned marketting from your time at CCP - the one lesson they could teach.

This kind of cowardly insipid politics is not what anyone but CCP would prefer from you.

I am neither an alt or a troll. I am pointing out that most of the CSMs that ran on an industry expansion agenda are now standing by saying what a great achievement the next expansion entittled "War" is and that apart from the barge change - which noone with a clue asked for, and possibly some long overdue changes to the industry queuing system - we're not going to see any comprehensive changes to industry for at least another year.

How is this not the very basic truth ?

All you can do is try and troll me instead of giving a reasonable response - because you don't have one.

And the fact that you go on the offensive for these people - of whom you weren't one as far as I can recall - only shows that a CSM with no difference in view between its' delegates is a CCP tool - not standing for the userbase AT ALL.

That's not how you write a "CSM Must Go!" Post!!!

THIS is how you write a CSM Must GO! Post:

My capsuleer comrades, I am speaking to you from a secret location to avoid the CSM deathsquads. For too long now have the CSM bourgeoisie have grown fat and arrogant, feasting on their Icelandic meals flown in by their CCP puppet masters while we, the hard working capsuleer, pay subs towards their lavish life styles!

The only way for us to prosper as a player base is to seize the means of production, and return the wealth that we create to the hands of the people who created it! Once the revolution is complete there will be no more grovelling and prostrating yourself before the CSM simply because they have more virtual friends than you. All players shall be considered equal and we will make sure that everyone has the game that they want!

So I say to you this comrades: Rise up and throw off the shackles of oppression! It's time to storm the Winter Palace!

This person is a good poster and should post more.

HAHA awesome Seleene, ill add to ur bounty ^^
Also, Seleene, there is my meat locker? I loved it! i remb u and devs commenting on it, any progress ? Or did it die?

Are you aware the CSM has no authority to make or compel CCP to make any changes to the game?[/quote]

Sir I respect you as a person and a legendary pilot, but you prove my point perfectly. For all the muss and fuss the CSM causes the mass player/pilot base it is nothing but a sideshow bob production. CCP points at the CSM and says well thats what they wanted. CSM points at CCP hey we did not make the call! Right or wrong weak or strong the effects are wrecking EVE gameplay. Oh by the way I am sorry I insulted the steak eaters. Fly safe all.

I did go, I went the Reno Air Races and it was great, not sure where I'll go next, maybe skiing when the snow arrives.

I know other CSM have been going places too! I am a strong supporter of going!

I find it amusing that you think its so easy to introduce widespread industry changes. I'd view the ongoing work on the POS system, see the CSM minutes, as evidence that there is a lot of work going on in this area but that its a big change not a trivial fix. In terms of effort the ship re-balancing that's going on is fairly simple. All it needs is tweaking database values and trying to maintain balance.

I guess that the CSM has to make CCP do whatever they say and if CCP won't then they need to take them around the back of the bike sheds and duff them in. Would that satisfy you?

Something that is rarely considered is that the CSM operates under NDA. This being the case its almost impossible to judge the effectiveness any CSM until after those NDA items have been released. This isn't to give carte-blanc to the CSM it does need to be taken into account. We may only find out the effectiveness of a particular CSM a number of years after its term.

The power of the CSM comes not from a power to control or compel, but in our ability to influence, inform, highlight, and persuade.

Seleene has been a voice for positive changes to the industrial side of EVE, as have others. .

Whilst not to belittle Seleene but what positive changes to industrial side to Eve would this be?

Have I missed something as the changes to the mining barges have changed well.. nothing.
