remapping from mem/int to int/mem?

Hello,

Returned back to the game a few months ago and i was still in the "learning" remap i had a long time ago. I am mostly training industry/research/support skills still but most of them are int/mem based. However, in the 180 day skill plan it would provide no more than 7 days of gains.

That doesnt seem... like a good enough trade off to lose a remap for?

so was wondering... would it actually be a good idea to remap to int / mem instead of mem / int?

I still have 3 bonus remaps left also. I will most probably not be remapping for perc/willpower for a long time. Not interested in the combat part of eve so much.

Train anything your current map works for, then switch asap.

3 bonus remaps is a lot IMO. Especially if you plan on staying focused for a long time.
By the time a year rolls around, you will get another remap, and possibly another Christmas bonus map to boot.

An extra week is two rank 1 skills to level 5 or a single rank 2 skill to level 5. Right there, that makes it worth it to me.

thanks for the advice, will probably swap over to int/mem after i finish ref eff 5. Kept it for a long time thinking it is not worth the remap to gain a few measly hours.

Also, how does the bonus remap points system work? Is it a guaranteed remap every christmas? and is there a hardcap on how many you can have at the same time?

With 3 bonus remaps I'd be thinking about getting some charisma skills out of the way.

Christmas bonus is not guaranteed. But it has been consistant, and does not affect the games economy or have any negative side affects. And it is free for CCP to give out. Player base loves it, etc, etc.

No hardcap on saving them that I know of. My max was 3 at one time I believe.
