Barack Obama had an AMA today on reddit!

Posted some good stuffs... I will just link his profile so you don't have to sift through his 10,000 comment thread.

http://www.reddit.com/user/PresidentObama

Also, his first name is one letter away from being the best name for the president of the USA ever...

I'd vote for Brack

I gave up on voting as I learned exactly how our presidential voting system works... but after the republicans posted their mentally incapacitated platform I changed my mind and hope Obama wins

Reddit didn't build that server.

He's got my vote again this year.

I don't agree with him on everything, but the alternative, considering how the republican party is foaming at the mouth right now and spouting stuff that frightens me, yeah... it wasn't a difficult decision.

My opinion is that Obama is our only real choice. There is Ron Paul but the republicans wont let him into their money club.

Romney?

lol He isn't even a choice, silly.

Bill Maher can be a bit of a prick who's overtly biased and not always completely sensible, but Colbert, even though he's obviously a comedian and it's a comedy news show, actually has a lot of good points (when he isn't obviously trolling).

One is a successful self made businessman, the other was mentored by communists, anticolonialists, and former Weather Underground terrorists and after 4 years has overseen a double dip recession, a massive drop in labor force participation and increased unemployment, and added more debt in 4 years than his predecessor did in 8.

Oh, but he'll let gays get married.

Because, you know, gays getting married will create so many jobs. That's apparently the only thing important to people who get all their news from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. If only gays can married, our debt will disappear, our entitlements will become sustainable, and leprechauns will shower us with gold.

The only conservatives I've ever met and been able to have a calm and reason-based political discussion are in my family.

The rest... well... see above...

This from a poster who responded to me in a previous thread with a noncoherent string of insults and cuss words.

Oh, the predictable irony.

Even though I don't remember what you're talking about, when you say stuff like this...

It's pretty obvious that well-reasoned thought and logic isn't your strong point.

the problem with the self made business man is that he already is glued to israel (he went there for a visit already) and mentioned that he's ok if israel attacks iran. that means usa will get involved too... and more debt for you guys.

obama is slightly better than romney, but it doesn't make either of them great... they are lame. but then again thats politics in general... when has anyone ever liked their prime minister/president?

i'm canadian and i think harper sucks. liberals aren't any better... but there's NDP which hasn't been elected... i bet 100% that if they ever do get elected, it will still suck. i have no hope for politics since it's voted by the majority. (the majority plays wow and the sims) not eve ;p

Well then it ought to be strikingly easy to refute it, eh?

Radical Islamists with nuclear weapons aren't just a problem for Israel. The leaders of Iran have explicitly said they want to bring about the rise of the Mahdi. It's not simply that they believe the time of the Mahdi is now, but their stated intention is the create the circumstances for his return - which is an apocalyptic conflict.

That might sound stupid. But that's what they believe. That's what they want to engineer, in their own words. This isn't people putting words in their mouth.

And even the UN says they are close to having the material they need for a nuclear bomb.

Yeah it'd be nice if Israel can get rid of the problem for the rest of us. But I don't think anyone's going to fret over a few billion dollars of American support to succeed. We waste more than that sending out tax credits to illegals.
