Been about a year and half since I've played, old computer died and I've only finally gotten another. After some work I managed to get myself back into highsec, I still have some ships in null sec but I want to wait and sneak them back later.

I want to do some solo pvp for awhile until I get back into the swing of things but am not sure where to start without burning through all my isk in failed attempts of villainy Big smile

Currently I'm specced out for stealth bombers and scanning, drake, and tengu and various other lower end caldari ships and need a relatively cheap pvp option that viable now with the newest expansion?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Rifters Cool

Pretty much any of the frigates though ... especially the ones that've been revamped with the tiericide.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

So pretty much any T1 frigate will do, but merlin is recommended. Have one of those with a lot of T2 fit items. Is it worth to go that route or are cheaper t1 sufficient for most solo pvp?

I'm not expecting to get very far going this route, just want to get my feet wet before I find a new pvp corp to join.

Yeah, fit in T1. That way you can die much more.

Depending on your wallet and skills (player and character), a T2 fit is a good baseline to get a good level of performance from your ship. At the least, you should try to us T2 weapons for the extra damage and flexibility the added ammo types bring.

Can't believe you posted for advice on the EVE-O forums instead of the GSF Forums Shocked

So the crime was you not using the goons forums? And your punishment is obviously being in the "swarm". Go get advice from your overlords and leave us pubbies to our menial tasks of dodging your shifty mining officers in hisec. And rattin in your empty systems. The knowledge we have is above you. Or below, if you drink mittens cool-aid.

Best advice is to take out officer fit ibis'. Hordes of them. Like thousands even.
