Possible? Yes.

Most likely? Hardly. You have no proof, only conjecture.

The same as the morons who will say I support botting because I'm defending someone being accused of it.

Give me a break. Botting hasn't even begun to be dealt with by CCP the way people are wanting it to be. The forums have been on fire with complaints over the last year.

Yeah, as of now. He's most likely botting. If not then it can be proven and 'nuff said. Until then… HE IS MOST LIKELY BOTTING!

Or he is multiboxing, which is much more likely. Feel free to yell and scream like you know what you're talking about though...it's cute.

Or are you guys saying that there is software that lets 10 ships move to 10 dif points, target 10-20 different asteroids, and mine them all from a master account?

Because my understanding is that multiboxing software sends the exact same command to every client, which means every client has to act dependent upon the master account. Which means going were the master account goes, targeting what the master account targets, and generally doing the exact same thing that the master account does.

You shouldn't be able to target multiple objects with one key press.

Are you the OP's alt or is this some new information pertaining to the situation. I only ask because no where in the OP's post do I see flight formations or different asteroids being targeted, only a list of names with 1-10 attached to them. Can you show me where he said all this?

He didn't say it, nor did I say he said it.

Nor was I actually responding to the op, but to what I see people saying about multiboxing.

See the second sentence I wrote? That symbol at the end of it means that I was asking a question. I learned that in like first grade. I'm sorry your schooling sucked.

Terrible attempt at redemption in a thread that was talking about 10 characters of the same name with a numerical difference at the end. You just admitted that you aren't even on topic with anyone else. Not to mention a resident IsBoxer specialist has proven your first statement wrong. Then you had to resort to personal attacks. Oh well, better luck next time aya mate? <---(seewhatIaddedthere)

That's probably because the resident expert was the only one that understood what a ******* question mark entails.

You go ahead and keep typing words, it's cute.

What?

Id say yes given the most recent mining changes

Then again; knowing any change will allow players to "game the system" because "we know the system better than ccp", is ANYTHING that hapens what they intend or as we just living with the consequences?

10 accounts equals 10 subscription fees, so in a way its a win for CCP.

I was thinking you could probably manually multibox with retrievers or (better yet, perhaps) macks. Since they take so long to fill up, after all. Then again I haven't tried running with 10 retrievers so perhaps that isn't very great.

I rat with three ships at the same time though.

Someone is paying CCP $150 a month to not play the game.

I think that money would be better spend on psychotherapy.

If the game supports them doing this, IE theres a REASON in game theyre doing this maybe the fault falls less in the player than the game?

So let me get this straight. You are implying that a guy soloing a 10 man mining crew is paying out-of-pocket for his game time?

I once knew a guy who spent over $500 in one month on Warhammer miniatures. He had an entire room in his house dedicated to them, in fact. He was married, has two kids. His wife was a coworker of mine, you see. There are plenty of other "eccentricities" out there, too, so in answer to your query: Yes, I most certainly believe that it is entirely plausible for there to be an EvE player paying that much out of their own pocket. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if there was more than a hundred such people in this game paying $100 or more a month on this game (or any other MMO for that matter) in some way or another.

Dunno; I spent $800 on a computer; I wont pay $150 a month for a game. Theres a difference between things you get and services you pay for

For some people $150 a month is really not a lot of money. At all. When it's less than 0.5% of your household income, what's the big deal? No psychologist necessary.

I think you missed the point. The guy is skilled enough in the game to solo a 10 char fleet. This player plexes his accounts more then likely. There may be players that do pay over 100 per month on Eve, but this guy is probably not one of them.

private schooling for trolls.

I agree on the plexing of accounts. With 10 accounts actively mining or missioning or doing whatever they do they should be able to afford 10x plex in short order.

I'll admit that it has happened where I've dropped a hundred or more in a month on a game before. It was a F2P oddly enough. Those things are dangerous. That's why I'm so glad there is no MT in this game. Except for fluff that no one will ever see. At least for a while yet.

But I can assure you that in this case it is far more likely that this guy is farming ISK for the PLEX to do what he want's in game. Whether that's to pay for PVP, build a personal Titan or just pull his pud while looking at his wallet.

Edit: Man I type slow. I see while I've been pecking away at my keyboard this has already been mentioned.

Perhaps running just one account is boring to this person, and HIS game is running 10 Miners.

Actually it is most likely a multiboxer and CCP is not interested at all.

Multiple accounts does not equal bot.
