Why not expand the known systems ?

Doing so would spread things out and bring back the thrill of the hunt.

Think about it for a moment, We have been to all corners of this map and back many times(except Jove space), why not have new areas open up and the current safe space, so to speak, grows as well, after all we do explore things and when we explore, we discover.

Isn't it about time that we discover new regions, new technologies, more new minerals and perhaps a new NPC race as well ?

Discuss or Flame, the choice is Yours alone to make.

I await the people crying about how we already have to many empty systems.

What you describe isn't exactly a small undertaking. You're going to have to justify doing it over all other things a bit more better, than just saying it would be cool. Dev time isn't unlimited and we already have to pick and choose which great features get implemented in the next expansion cycle and which get left in development limbo.

Maybe they could revamp the current systems by making the stations more alive. Think of how huge the stations are, they are as big as whole cities yet we only ever see the hangar or the captain's quarters. Perhaps they could introduce more internal areas like clubs or bars to encourage social interaction in certain systems or maybe even introduce unique commodities and bonuses that require players to travel to certain systems to get them... Perhaps it could be new ammo types which are only sold by specific NPC corps and such. I think something like this could add a new layer of depth and immersion to the game and add more realism, giving each system it's own personality and making the universe a more exciting place to explore and find new things.

Edit: I guess I should add that I don't expect every station to have unique internal areas... In fact it would be better if these internal areas were limited to maybe just 20-30 stations so that they are more rare and act as more suitable gathering points rather than being spread very thinly across the galaxy.

It's not crying if it's true.

Discover new techs? Sure why not. (though we still need to balance current techs)
New mins? Why not.
New NPC races? Why not.
New space? Nah we already have plenty of empty space as it is.

Maybe the next CVA can have some terrible space that no one wants to sit on.

I always thought there should be more space on the left side of Fountain. Balance the map out and all that. Cool idea. I just think there are better ways to spend CCPs time.

Lets have more low sec systems say double the amount we have now, but no FW in them, with more gateways into null sec

I would rather see the entire navigation mechanic in Eve get changed. Warp to stargate. Jump. Warp to stargate. Jump. Warp to stargate. Jump. This is boring and repetitive.

I'd rather see something where all ships have their own jump drive. They have to angle their ship correctly towards the system they want to jump to and initiate a jump themselves. I'm not saying I want it to be instantaneous either, i.e. a jump should take time, and a maximum range of how far people could do this depending on ship would be wonderful, but it's just something I'd like to see.

As for blocking off pipelines, I think it'd be interesting if other people could have a method of detecting jumps through space and intercept you in a system that is close to the path of jump. Space battle ensues.

Just a thought about something I think would improve the immersion in Eve incredibly. As for relating to having more systems, I think this would make Eve feel much more expansive on it's own, and not require the need for new systems.

How will walking in stations get more people into different areas in flying in ships?

Is this right? It still makes no sense to me, sorry.

After breaking the game for 36+ hours just transferring the existing game from one to server to another do you really trust them to create and add entirely new content to this game without making eve unplayable for the better part of 3 months while they debug the "patch" live after releasing it too early?

Nor will you ever make sense of it.

You need to come to terms with the fact that most poster's brains don't catch up to what their two fingers painfully typed out until well after they hit the POST button. By then, they are ruining the English language in some other thread.

You should grab a copy of X3 Terran Conflict. There is a jumpdrive in that game that will allow you to jump to whatever system you want. Provided you have the fuel to do so.

if you're going to add more systems, which i'm not really crazy about, make the cluster look more like a spiral galaxyBear
