direct sound buffer size?

I have severe problems with sound buffer underruns and stutting (wine+alsa+pulse) I googled quite much and the WoW community has a simple fix for the identical problem, they can change the direct sound buffer size in their client config.

Has the EVE client somewhere a configuration to use increased the sound buffer sizes?
