POS Ownership question

I launched a POS for Corp... my corp is very inactive and am looking at joining another corp. However I still want to have my POS that I launched.

Can my Corp give me back the ownership?
Will I have to un-anchor everything pack it all up and then re-launch the POS for myself?.. (im hoping not)

I probably made a mistake in launching the POS for Corp, rather than for myself :(

If I petition CCP would they give me ownership if Corp CEO confirms this as being my POS?

This is not in Null Sec this is an Empire POS...

Any help would be appreciated..

Yeah you'll have to tear the whole thing down and reanchor under the new corp.

Understand that POSs are considered a corp asset, which means you are not launching it for yourself but for the corp as a whole, which means anyone who has proper roles can access it completely.

Though for your question, most likely not, you will have to tear it down and reanchor it in the new corp.

If you still have the roles to offline it and unanchor it you are good. If not ask nicely and if they say no....Well your boned.

Any spelling, grammatical and punctuation errors are because frankly, I don't care!!

Thanks for the replies,.. you have confirmed my worst fear.. I have leadership roles in the corp, and can unachor etc.. but man.. what a pain in the ass this will be so i can change to a more active corp.

Another question... can I unanchor just the POS, and then re-anchor and all Guns and Mods and Silos etc stay... or all mods have to be unachored also?

That'd be a fun little scam - recruit somebody, let them throw up a personal POS, strip their roles and steal their crap while they watch.

Be careful taking your POS down, it has happened in the past that someone else waits cloaked for just the right moment and bumps your ship away and steals the POS from under your hands. Cool

Ask around to see if you can get a wardec on your corp, that way the POS can be fired upon.
