Issues, Workarounds & Localization

As a serious trader sitting in Jita there's a lot of stuff going in and out each day. However as a trader it's important to be "on top" over your competitors when it comes to buy & sell orders.

There's is one annoying moment though in this market system that CCP has implemented. That issue is actually that the system does NOT update the market orders correctly. It happens several times a day that when you view market details or try to refresh them everything seems fine and you accept your change. BUT when you do that some new orders actually appears that was not shown from the refresh of the orders. So in this case you think you have the best offer but in the real case there were other offers that were made before you "refreshed" the orders but didn't appear there until you peronally submitted your own order change.

This mind sound confusing but let me give you an example:
- Say that the lowest sell order of tritanium is 6.78 and you click "sell this item" and you put in 6.77 to undercut with 0.01 isk. But before you actually do submit it you click "view market details" to see if there come up any orders and most of the time it shows that there are no other others up, so you click submit and your order is up. However after submitting there has appeared an order with a better offer than yours namely 6.76 which was posted 15 seconds ago yet you refreshed the orders 5 seconds ago. Now there's a missing time of 10 seconds which caused you to believe there was no other better order than your own.

In real life stock market is heavily dependent on minimum latency as most of you know. It's a matter of milliseconds when it comes to stock market and eve market kinda rely on a good "market refresh" to see the orders so you can make your own best deal for the desired item. Having a huge delay on market order updates is a huge flaw especially when it comes to items that are heavily traded each day such as minerals.

As a little conclusion. It's FRIGGIN ANNOYING to see when you post your order that there has been another order put up some seconds ago but doesn't show up on order refresh. And also that you have to wait 5 minutes again before you are able to re-adjust the orders.

So please CCP. Revise the market system so we don't have to suffer from market orders delaying and not showing up on market refresh.
