Devs are busy making things for Eve, they have better things to do than explain elementary game concepts to those too dumb to figure them out alone.

Every time you post a WiS thread, Hilmar strangles a kitten.

Attempting to dictate terms to pilots who have different play styles is a cry for help.
Here is your answer then: you are in over your head, and if you cannot adapt to the harsh realities of null sec, then you need to get out of the deep water.

Seriously equating wormholes as identical to regular space with the exception that there is no local, simply points out your lack of experience in them. The differences are far more reaching, as any pilot who spent significant time in one knows.

The harsh reality is that because of NAP-fests and equally stupid things, nullsec is much safer than lowsec and maybe even highsec.

Edit: And NO! AFK-cloaking is currently one of the few ways to counter local. I'd say "go back to highsec if you want risk-free PvE" but null is probably as safe or safer.

OP: unless you do something bad or groundbreaking, you won't get a CCP response in this section.

Also, this idea will hurt active cloak pilots. Badly.

Will it stop afk cloaking. Sure. So will going to the afk cloaker's house and shooting their computer. Its still a bad idea (though not as illegal... the suggested change I mean).

Edit: did anyone else read the OP in Yoda voice?

It's only safer (and situationally so) because the combination of sovereignty, standings, and aggression mechanics allows you to treat anyone unknown to you in local as a potential hostile, which is simply impossible to do in highsec. You also have to, you know, pay attention in order to be safe. And highsec is safer in general anyway unless you fit something worth getting ganked for.

That doesn't solve any of the aforementioned problems.

It solves AFK cloaking completely, for one…

It creates a few problems though. This doesn't really hinder using cloaks as a scout because they'll just briefly decloak whenever they want to get a look at local (of course causing them to appear in local as well). Of course one could merely camp anomalies semi-afk, waiting for a ratting carrier or such to show up so that they can hot drop them.

In essence, this would be a tremendous nerf to nullsec PVE and the result would be a mass exodus. Not a change for the better.
